Haha .love the annotation "the flights not over until the first beer is in front of you". How true! :)

I just started lessons and just found your channel. You are a great teacher and are connecting the dots for me. It's nice that I can see what you are explaining at a slower pace which I can absorb because I'm not doing the flying. So happy I found your videos. Thank you.

May I know how to align the centerline during taxiing (and potentially on final) on the left side seat? any visual reference or imaginary line to follow? Some people say right foot, but some say between the legs? Much appreciated!

2:09 Anyone know what that plane to the far left with the giant 6 blade (contraprop?) propeller is? Would say Spitfire/Seafire but it seems too big for one, right?

Keeping the yellow stripe between your feet that's good simple advice and easy to remember.

Good points on using brakes. Takes focusing on the task at hand, to use only the power needed and no more. Good video. Could you give us your experience on use of lights on the ground, mainly the strobes. Seems there is some differing opinions as to when these should come on. Thanks, Paul

Great point on the taxi speed. I see too many pilots thinking they're on the drag strip and not the air strip!

4:50 I can’t tell you how many pilots forget this. I’ve seen it too many times.

YOUR FLIGHT IS NOT OVER UNTIL THE BEER IS IN FRONT OF YOU good one. I don't drink beer though. Also my flight school's 172s are 180 hp and they start to sound a bit cloggy if they are below 950 RPM even with leaning, and they like to move too fast on the taxiway with 850 RPM so in their aircraft I kind of have to use braking anyway to moderate the speed.

01:03 - You see guys starting their machines where they tied them down all the time. Too lazy to pull it out and turn it.

This is good--but 12 knots is not a brisk walk, it's a four minute mile. Slow down!

***** It's a perception vs. reality thing. When you ask someone to taxi at what they believe to be a fast walk, they'll be at about 10-12kts. Don't take everything so literally.

Wow that was like a 6 minute fire hose of all the information ever written about taxiing . I am going to give up flying because I just realized that after 12 years, I can't even taxi properly :(
