VOLCANIC CRATER LAKE MANINJAU | BUKITTINGGI | WEST SUMATRA | INDONESIA

Lake Maninjau was formed by a volcanic eruption occurred around 50,000 years ago. It is located 56kms from Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, Indonesia. There are old beautiful house which are made up of wood and beautiful colourful glass windows. If you go to West Sumatra, its a must visit place. Its a very small village surrounding the huge lake and surrounded by mountains. Lake Maninjau is a Volcanic crater lake. People are very friendly and the sunset is one of the unique. The colours are crazy awesome.
I stayed at Muaro Beach Bungalows, which is just on the lake. I recommend this place. Very friendly owners.

It's different compare to Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Sabang island is same as andaman.
