It’s because of differences in sports culture, we’re used to making a riot and getting hyped. Americans are very reserved and timid when it comes to cheering. Biggest culture shock of my life was going to a some American sports games, they were all packed yet I could audibly hear conversations from people sitting 5 seats away. Few years later I took some Americans to a sports bar to watch a World Cup prelim and they were shocked and asked me if these were the finals. They wanted to leave because they couldn’t handle the cheering, screaming and chanting, then one of them had a panic attack. I guess Americans come to relax, we come to party
