I agree. He could have bounced back and forth like they are doing now. Although he is a seasoned veteran, he would not have been wasting his time because he would have been an awesome mentor to NXT talent. She isn't a rookie either. She knows the game but they did not use her right with that gimmick. After she got built up, they both could have bounced between RAW, SMACKDOWN and NXT.

Watching this interview and so far it’s breaking my heart for Taya!! I’ve never had the chance to see her in Impact (bc my already $$ cable pack. doesn’t have it) but from NXT she was as good as advertised. Now, on this interview, you can see her just put herself out there & talk about how heart broken she was/is. She also seems like the sweetest person you’d love to have as a friend!! Can’t wait to see what you do next!! I’ll be watching! 🙏🏻🥰🤗

Man, it sucks that they (WWE) never gave Taya and John a chance to explore a storyline together on the main show, or even in NXT. I've Loved John since MNM, so hearing the stuff Taya speaks of the future potentially holding for her and him, I can't wait. Would love to see Taya and John as the hottest couple in prowrestling, holding belts at the same time at the top of whatever company is next for them both. Maybe even get that dream matchup in a Hennigan-made film!? That would be great too 😎

She is absolutely amazing, such a natural fighter and a superstar! Hopefully Johnny Superstar and Taya Valkyrie will be together in a big company soon as possible, like AEW! Johnny Superstar would be awesome to make his debut by winning the TNT title from Sammy Guevara! And Taya vs Thunder Rosa Britt Baker or Mercedes Martinez, among others, it's a legit main event! And if she goes to AEW maybe she could create the first official all-women's faction, that's something missing on the AEW Women's division! Wishing them all the best and all the success in the world, they deserve it! And congratulations Chris Van Vliet, always doing a great job with a lot of class and respect! 👏👍

She already ruled Impact so yeah I thought AEW was next but WWE be throwing some money bags at ppl and it's hard to say no. But it sucks in the E so it's really a win/lose situation. And before any fans pull up trying to defend E remember all the reports of talent being unhappy there. Not including the ones that have left or been fired.

Never really seen Taya perform many times, and never seen her interviewed. I've always gotten the "I'm a badass and I'm just as tough as the men" vibe from her in snippets I've seen. The typical millennial militant feminist shtick. I think the opposite now, and that's a compliment. I was pleasantly surprised, as in this video she comes across as sweet, sensitive, bubbly, and extremely feminine. I can see what John likes about her. She's very cute, and not only looks like she's in her 20s, but her personality seems just as young, vibrant, and pretty.
