The song it’s a little close to home. I remember as a young child, my mother, having to make decisions similar to feed her three boys to keep a roof over their head because she was under the age of 18 years of age she had no help. We lived in South Dallas, Texas. I don’t remember much about my childhood I just remember the sacrifices my mother made while she was alive to make sure her children were taken care of even after we were all grown I like the song a lot

I can relate to this song because my mama used to work a lot and i was around drugs a lot and she did them to. We moved around a lot to and my family is droken to and i tell myself that i didn't ask for the family and messed up childhood with the drugs, mmoving around, and my friends dying and getting killed, or my daddy getting arrested, and my little brother getting hurt when my mama was at work by her past bf that i saw as a second and me having to hear my brother getting hurt and also living in a bad neighborhood. Right now im only 16 and that happened to me when i was younger.
