RIP Chuck. Small thing, not complaining, just a clarification. Wrong song in title, it's "Love Will Lead You Back". Thanks for looking at Taylor Dayne, she's so undervalued as a singer & entertainer, and I hope you get to hear more of her work. Some of my favorites has to be "I'll Be Your Shelter", the Jim Steinman written "Original Sin" and her fantastic cover of Barry White's "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love". And I don't think Maggie meant in any way to make a true comparison of Cher (who grew up in New York, Texas, California) as a singer to Taylor ( who grew up in New Jersey & New York), just her critical ear hearing a miniscule similarity (like seeing a pile of salt with a speck of pepper most people would not notice, purposefully or not). I too can hear that the way Taylor will sonetimes enunciates while stretching a note is a bit Cher-ish (either both picking up similar affectations from being around New Yorkers, singing in similar styles or Taylor subconsciously being influenced by Cher in some way).
