I got mines today and I’m in love mate. I can’t seem to let go of it. We definitely need those covers and recordings of you playing on this beauty.

Congrats! She’s a beauty! You know, this is just what I needed thanks man. I wondered whether people would be interested in the concept of covering others songs, but I think it’s worth a try. I’ll put something this weekend! Thanks for watching and encouraging ☺️

@@sonusaurelius6576even your next video about reducing the string gauge , I really enjoyed hearing you play the koa plus at the end of the video during your comparison. Those demos were amazing , my favorite was the first demo you played with the koa. Words can’t express how much in love I am with the koa plus hahaha.

Hello mate! Great video! Would you be confident taking the aero case on a plane? Does the name suggest you could put it in the cargo but you’d need a hard case realistically?
@sonusaurelius65766 ай бұрын
Hey thanks!! Yeah definitely. It’ll be fine on a plane - made for it. The case is super sturdy and has the added benefit of gig bag-esque features that hard cases don’t have like back straps and pockets etc. plus it’s really light so won’t impose too much on carryon or baggage costs. Hope that helps!!

Hi there! Thanks for watching 😊 the Koa plus is new so it still has the factory set: D'Addario XS Coated Phosphor Bronze Medium (.013 - .056). However, when they start to age I’ll replace them with something a lot lighter. I want it to melt in my hand, so probably elixir 10-47s. I have an 12 year old GS mahogany that has 10-47s and it plays like butter.

Also worth adding that Taylor put 13s on the GS mini for first impressions. Heavier gauge strings project more so it makes the guitar sound bigger. When you move to lighter gauge strings the guitar will be easier to play but have less projection. However, the benefit of lighter gauge strings is that they sustain better and the guitar sings rather than yells, in my experience.

Is it worth it than the gs mini rosewood plus? they have the same price
@sonusaurelius65764 ай бұрын
Yeah I think it’s worth it. I think it also sounds more balanced than the Koa. I bought the Koa because I liked the look and I have plenty of spruce top guitars.
