Her boyfriend of almost 5 years Joe Alwyn they wrote 2 two songs together Exile, Betty and he also produced some songs Exile, Betty, My Tears Ricochet, August, This Is Me Trying and Illicit Affairs. Evermore they wrote Champagne Problems, Coney Island and the title track Evermore. He chose the pseudonym William Bowery when herfans looked up the name they couldn't find anything so they figured it out that it was Joe Alwyn. Swift confirmed this theory on her Disney+ Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions.

@@BritPopsReact This is the first I have heard this story about Augustine or Augusta, the song is called August and refers to it being just the month, there is no reference to the name possibilities. You can't always believe everything people write, sometimes people put their own slant on things.

Currently my favorite songs from her are from Evermore (newest album), *Ivy* and *Cowboy* *Like* *Me* . May not be for everyone, but really good stuff! I highly recommend it! (her last two albums are indie/folk)

We are not very good at trying to dissect the songs or the videos as that would be a quick way to get it totally wrong if you have no idea about the artists previous songs and what they may be trying to convey. We try to stick to the song and may point out a bit in the video for its quality and bits like that but trying to get deep like you have we would not have been able to pick that up with without the history that you provided. I will read all that information and store it away, but I am not going to start speaking about it like I know what I am talking about.
