I honestly swear on my life that "dia duit" means hello! Literally "God be with you." When someone says dia duit to you you reply "dia is muire duit"- God and Mary be with you. I thought it sounded dirty too! But I felt like the interviewer was genuinely being sweet. I am really curious if anything was said later about it. I can understand Taylor's apprehension to saying things she doest understand, it would be super embarrassing had she said something dirty. I'm sure if the interviewer had pulled an underhanded trick like that it would have cost her the job. I think Taylor in particular has alot of clout, everything she touches turns to gold. Getting an interview with Taylor has to be a very coveted guest in the radio world. Anyway, it's an interesting dynamic.
