I don't think you guys understand how meaningful her picking up the phone at the end of the song is. She has been torn apart so many times by a phone. Joe Jonas, when he broke up with her over a phone conversation. I’m a guy, I first heard this song on a dark cold night when I was sleeping. My mind wandered and traveled back to my teen years (late 2000s) when I truly experienced true love with my then crush. She would later get married off by her parents to a man who she didn’t love and the marriage broke up prematurely . She gave birth to 2 kids and wasn’t herself after that. I had to move on. But back to the dream, I had the most amazing smile being with her and we kissed for the first time which we never did. Never felt a more soothing peace after that experience.
