I am like you were. Not a swiftie but I don't hate her. I enjoy her music but it's not something I normally listen to. You should totally start doing more cakes like this. Maybe listening to artist you don't normally and making cakes for their albums. That would be so much fun and expose you to do many different kinds of music!

Maybe y’all should go on a Taylor Swift journey. You don’t need to love her music, everyone has their own taste in music, but there is a lot more to Taylor Swift than first meets the eye. And like she said, you do not find the gems listening to her hits at all grocery store. I recommend watching her Eras Tour on Disney+. Her concerts are a very immersive experience. If you still don’t love her, that’s fine, but you will at least be able to see what everyone is talking about. Also a lot of people still think Taylor Swift just make music for teen girls. This is because Taylor hit it big as a teenager, and has always had a big teen audience. But Taylor has really grown up since her teen years, both as a person, or course, but also as an artist. People of all ages and demographics enjoy her music and relate to her songs. She has over 200 songs. Her songs also have a very healing quality to them. Taylor’s music also has a way of transporting you somewhere else when you feel it, and let it flow through you. Even if she is not your thing, it can still be a fun experience.

But my music genre is rock and metal so she will never be my cup of tea. She's not for everyone, especially not for a Gen X'er like me who was a rocker chick back in the 90's. But I would totally go to one of her concerts to accompany my niece. I have friends who love BTS and I support their obsession with the group.
