Ahhh, loved the reaction! This is one of my favorite Taylor songs, and the fandom as a whole feels as though Getaway Car should have had its moment to shine as a single. While this song is fun with its "Bonnie & Clyde" storytelling, it's actually a metaphor for her relationship with Tom Hiddleston. He was sort of her rebound after she and Calvin Harris broke up, so in a sense, he was just the "Getaway Car" that led her to long-time boyfriend Joe Alwyn. I love how Taylor can tell a story at face value, but the meaning is often very symbolic of real things happening in her life at any moment in time.

Would love to see reactions to Carolina, Out of the Woods (Grammy Museum piano version), Cornelia Street & Death by a Thousand Cuts (Lover in Paris concert), I Don't Wanna Live Forever (Super Saturday Night), and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (from the 1989 tour). I just love watching people see her live, especially acoustic performances. I also love watching reactions to her songwriting process and interviews. There is a series called The Making of a Song, and it shows her working on the Reputation album. It's really interesting and awe-inspiring to watch.
