Her vocals have improved and matured over the years and looking back, I liked the young and naive voice she had back then but this older, more mature live performance is also endearing. Honestly I wasn’t a Swift fan and I thought she was just a pretty singer who writes songs about her exes but as a grownup I realize she was just a victim of the media portraying her that way just because she is a beautiful woman and that she actually writes some very down to earth songs. Not all songs need to be soulful and deep but the charm of her songs is that it’s so everyday and ordinary that everyone can relate. Her recent albums are definitely taken more seriously by critics and high-noses ppl but her debut and earlier albums have that raw wholesomeness that only young ppl can have. It’s good!
