Kim and Kanye leaked an edited phone call painting her in a negative light in like 2015/2016. She got cancelled. The world turned on her. Didn’t come out until like 2020 that the phone call was edited/doctored. Those 2 are by far the most hated people to the swifties. Reputation was her comeback album

It was a wild time to be a TS fan at that time. I had people throw stuff at me in public when I wore her merch. Another little known tidbit is that leaked edited phone call started the now used in every cancellation hashtag #[name]isoverparty with # taylorswiftisoverparty followed by tons of snakes because kk called her a snake.

Kanye West has done Taylor wrong 3 times, the first time, of course, he took the mic at the VMA's, and he later apologized. Then down the road, he called her asking her to be the presenter for an award he was getting, when it happened, and he gave his speech, he said having Taylor there was done for ratings. He of course apologized. The final time, was the straw that broke the camel's back, was when Kanye called Taylor up about a song he was working on and he wanted to make sure she was alright with the lyrics that were about her. Then Famous came out, and the lyrics "I made that B famous" Taylor objected and that is when they edited the illegal recording he made of their conversation. Kim posted it on social media calling her a liar and a snake, the hate that Taylor got was so bad she disappeared for a year. When she came back it was with Reputation. All Taylor ever wanted was to be is to be friends with Kanye. Personally, I don't think Kanye liked how many awards she brought home, he was jealous of her. When you do "Look What You Made Me Do" is mostly about Kanye, and "This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things". Taylor embraced the snake, she has a huge mechanical snake, it's name is Karyn. Taylor takes lemons and makes lemonade. If you do End Game, do the MV because it has Ed Sheeran and Future featured.
@Justjess07423 ай бұрын
You left out the part where Kanye had a Taylor dupe mannequin naked in his bed. I think that was the straw that broke her.
@ademoss8017 күн бұрын
Wasn't she a big fan of Kayne? If so that really sucks, I can't imagine meeting someone I looked up to and was treated that way. Kanye hasn't been exactly stable at times, but he did seem to target her. Didn't she make a speech or something about liking Kanye and listening to his music? Him and Kim were in the audience and looked uncomfortable because they didn't know what was going on. Or did I just make that up?
@Violet3163 ай бұрын
Thank you for reacting to Taylor, this is a very big rabbit hole you are jumping into, she has 273 songs, a total of 11 albums. When the pandemic hit she came out with folklore, she only gave a few hours notice that she was dropping a new album, she dropped the whole album at one time. Then 5 months later she did it again with evermore. She calls them sister albums. She has since surprised us with 2 more albums, she does not sleep. Anyway, I appreciate your honesty.

Another great thing about out Taylor is at her live show she gives credit to her strange hands and band mates and back up singers. She brings them on stage. She make sure she gives them the credit they deserve. With their name in the credits on the film in the movie theatre’s as well. I also love that she hires a lot of people of color , sexual orientation , size and shape and she lets them get their shine during her concerts. Their solos if you will. She shares the spotlight on stage with them. And let them all have their moment in different ways. Which is very rare esp for an artist of her magnitude. She’s awesome!!! It’s great to see !!! (Also during her current tour she leaves the main stage and walks over to the side stage and performs her biggest song and sings to the audience members who have the “not sooo good seats”. And make sure they have a good time and are enjoying themselves. She’s very aware and conscious.

Exactly I was saddened how cut the Eras tour was. Nothing compares to Rep tour.
@yara55023 ай бұрын
Highly disagree. I went to both shows several times and eventhough I LOVED Rep tour, The Eras tour easily clears Rep tour. The Eras tour is WAY bigger and more powerful, and the production of the show is absolutely insane, sensory overload, nothing comes close, the flow of the show is seamless, and the variety makes the show feel so short eventhough it´s so long, and her vocals are amazing. Just the TTPD set alone clears REP tour. The Eras movie doesn´t have the same flow as the actual show has though, eventhough it was great and production is great, but I get why they had to cut it up since it is so long.
@alina88293 ай бұрын
Idk I just feel that Rep tour is special because of the iconic comeback she did. But The Eras Tour is way more superior in terms of the production and work that Taylor put in it. And the concept is also something that makes this tour much more interesting to watch.

This was the introduction to her comeback after falling off the map, because of the Kanye situation. That was the last drop. Yup, there where Taylor Swift is over parties and all. It was vicious and all the while she was the one in the right. It came out at the end that she had been victimized. I have to point out that there hasn’t been an apology from those two ( Kanye and Kim ) yet. Kanye did the interruption that started it all, she forgave him, wrote a song about him called “ Innocent “ , and then he played her once more in a much more serious and disrespectful manner. He also lied through his teeth and his wife went as far as editing a private phone conversation to make it look like she was lying about the situation. They’re both gross human beings for what they did to her, period. Justin Bieber messed up bad as well. Bullying is not acceptable. He joined that party. I do not like him.

Though i can forgive him now..since he later apologized and he's estranged from his former manager & Kanye west (ever since his misogynistic remarks about Hailey Bieber) ..also he's gone through many physical conditions...so I don't hate him anymore... I'm neutral about Justin Bieber.

One thing other than the obvious I hear about TS is that almost all of her backup singers and band have been witb her for years. Some of those since the beginning of her career. I also here she takes very good care of them and shows genuine appreciation for what they contribute. She seems like a very genuine and humble person. Then we have people like JLo out in the streets not even singing their own songs yet she never acknowledges her background and people aren't allowed to look her in the eye or they get fired.

There is a fairly succint summary of the Swift/ Kardashian West events on Wikipedia (as well as a pretty much a page for every video or single she's ever done); and a short bit on her regular page that isn't as detailed. Started in 2009, at the VMA awards; got reignited in 2016 via edited phone call illegally recorded. In 2020, the unedited version came out. Looked to me like the Kardashians wanted ratings, and Kanye was looking to sell more tickets to his Life of Pablo (?) tour (he canceled it in the middle of it). The blather was about his song/video called Famous. On the internet, a lot of trolls decided crucifying her was the way to get clicks. Pretty sure Kim's mother released the unedited version of the call; cranked up interest in what their show might do in response. For them, it seems like ratings (ad money) was the big motivator.

You have to watch the documentary’Miss Americana’. It’s an eye opener. This woman has ovaries of steel now. She’s had to put up with some terrible behaviour toward her. And she’s just never left alone. Which is why I think she love being in the UK so much with her previous squeeze. We don’t interfere if people are out trying to be them. Brits act pretty cool around famous people. She got to do things like go down the pub with her boyf etc and I think she found it refreshing as if you watch the doc you’ll see she can’t leave her home without being absolutely mobbed. And I would suggest you watch ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ next 😊 xx

She said in an interview once that she has to carry a trauma wound kit with her because people wait for her outside her apartment or outside arenas and place with weapons. People break into her homes fairly frequently unfortunately. In 2009, Taylor won the VMA for Best Video. While she was on stage holding the award and thanking people, he came up on stage and grabbed the mic out of her hand and turned to the audience to say "Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time." Taylor was 19. He was 32. Seven years later in 2016 Kanye (and Kim) resurrected the feud by plotting a scenario that would create similar controversy, headlines and ultimately publicity for Kanye's upcoming projects. They schemed to set Taylor up for a fall by recording his phone call with her, to get her seemingly approving one set of lyrics to his song Famous. Later he would manipulate the public and the media with an edited version of that recording, in order to make people think she approved another set of more controversial lyrics which he knew she would never have approved: "I made that bitch famous". He never told her about those lyrics. The important thing is he got her on this secret recording saying yes to the first set. Kanye knew when the song was released, she would know she had been tricked and would deny approving these lyrics but, the recording would make her look like she was lying. Kanye knew it would create a world-wide media frenzy, resurrecting their "feud" from 2009. Only this time, Kanye would be seen as the injured party and Taylor the conniving liar. It was all about self-promotion. He was desperate for the publicity. At that time Kanye had two major projects coming out February 2016 which he needed to promote, so... he cooked up some major publicity for himself the week leading up to both events. On February 9, 2016, two days ahead of his fashion line launch, he tweeted, in all caps, "BILL COSBY IS INNOCENT!!!!!!!!!! As one writer for WIRED magazine put it, "That's ten exclamation points - roughly fifty fewer than the number of women who accused the comedian of sexual abuse." Classic Kanye, doing and saying something controversial in order to start trending on social media - always his prime agenda. Two days later, February 11, Kanye debuted his "Yeezy Season 3 Collection" at his fashion show event at Madison Square Garden where he also debuted his album "The Life of Pablo" which he had playing in the background. The album debut was broadcast worldwide via video stream. Preliminary industry reviews ahead of its release had been dismal - "mediocre, confusing" or, "awful." As one writer put it anticipating the event “like everything West does, the event will likely be a mix of rococo and just plain cuckoo.” This was the album’s unofficial release, ahead of its actual release date, February 14, 2016, just one day before the Grammy Awards on February 15, 2016 where Taylor was nominated for 9 awards for 1989. She won 3 awards that night, including Album of the Year for the second time. But, back on the 11th, when Taylor heard the lyrics for the first time, along with everyone else, she knew she'd been played and, betrayed by Kanye. That night, Tree Paine, Taylor's publicist, released a statement on Twitter clarifying, "Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single "Famous" on her Twitter account which she declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, "I made that bitch famous." The next day, Friday February 12, West tweeted that the idea for the line was “actually something Taylor came up with.” Yet another lie causing more controversy and headlines. But not as big as they would have been had he managed to trick her into releasing Famous on her Twitter account without ever telling her the actual lyrics. He has no shame or conscience, but pretends he's a man of god leading church every Sunday. A true wolf in sheep's clothing. (All anyone has to do is Google Kanye West along with the word "lawsuits" to see just how many people he's cheated out of their rightful credit and compensation for their contributions to "his" music.) In Taylor's case, every time the scandal died down, West or Kardashian would resurrect it, milking it for all it was worth. Kardashian gave an interview in Vogue on June 16, 2016, reiterating the false narrative that Taylor was lying, saying "She totally approved that." The next day, June 17 Kardashian took to social media, adding insult to injury calling Taylor a snake. All of Kim's millions of sycophants tweeted snake emojis at Taylor. As she says in the documentary Miss Americana, the hashtag "Taylor is over party" was the #1 trending thing on Twitter for a while. A month later, on July 18, 2016, Kardashian leaked an edited version of the recording of that infamous phone conversation setting off another media frenzy, calling it "proof" that Taylor had approved the lyrics and was lying. Taylor went on social media and tweeted, "where in that recording do I approve him calling me a bitch? It doesn't exist because it never happened." Later that July, West released his music video for Famous with a life-size mannequin of a naked Taylor in bed with him implying they'd had sex.

You can read her talking about some of that in her TIME. magazine Person of the Year interview from last year. She talked about some of it. Including the terrible way the entertainment press treated her and how she does not trust them anymore. As for her special place in the entertainment world, being as big as she is in I see it on par with someone like Beyonce. She is the only person in that stratosphere. And both are good people who try to help new artists and have good hearts. But, no one goes after Beyonce. She is treated well. Taylor, being a woman in a man's world on her own has had some dirty things pulled on her. But, she fights back and eventually overcomes.

Your voice is so smooth! Would love to hear you on "Lately" by Jodeci. Oh man, that would actually be a great song for you to react to if you don't know it.

Kellz meet Savage Taylor. Every time someone tries to cancel her, she turns it around on them-Scooter Braun, Kanye..

❤❤ The vindictive Taylor is my favorite, but I love seeing her happy - If you're joining the Swifties, you have to react/listen to "Ronan" WARNING Its not an upbeat song, it it sad ... Its a song Taylor wrote about a little boy who dies from cancer. Mama Maya is part of us and Ronan will forever be in our hearts. Bring tissue. We will meet you there. ❤

I'm glad you're respectful but you shouldn't have to say respectfully before complimenting a woman. I know it's because everyone is soooo sensitive nowadays, but it’s just a normal reaction to an attractive woman. ❤❤❤ Keep being you!

Here is a pro tip if you want to level up your reactions bit. When you pause don't just push play but go back little bit. Because there a lot of artists with who you will miss things if you just push the play. And that can be frustrating to watch. Other than that I really like to watch your reactions.
