This song is a pure masterpiece. It starts with other people's lives stories and then she put her own life in a parallel line with the stories. It shows how much of a great songwriting she is. A story of someone's losing their job and and a story of a couple undecided about their devorce for their kids, and then she put her own life and 15 years struggles and achievements with her previous label, being betrayed and how much it hurt to leave... But in your soul you know when it's time to go... Only a genius

This album is a lyrical masterpiece. She tells great stories, and they're so relatable. Whenever I feel upset, her songs always make me happy, even tho they are sad songs. Especially this song is my therapy. It doesn't mean you are a freak when you go away and run and whatever. You sometimes have to let it go and leave it behind. You don't have to act to be loved by others. Just be who you are, and don't let others affect you. You don't always have to stay just because you have known them for a long time and don't want to hurt them like they hurt you. It couldn't have been explained and written better. I was never into Taylor’s post-country era with all her beefs with her exes and other people. But after evermore I have realized the one thing I refused I acknowledged time over time was that how this woman was (“is” actually) so antagonized by the media as an aggressive and bitter person just because she decided to voice her opinions. I was led by the media this whole time and almost missed out on this masterpiece of an album. Not only that I related to your feelings, I also saw the “ripe fulness” in Taylor both musically and mentally in this album.
