I don’t think there is anything wrong with it. I think everyone wouldn’t like it initially because it is different from the original. Keep in mind we’ve been listening to the original for years and years and years on repeat. I found some of the 1989 Taylor vers songs I didn’t like initially on first listen, but after kind of forgetting about the older versions and getting used to the newer versions, I prefer the newer versions much more.the mixing is way better and everything is just more crisp.

It's because of the mixing. Since this is for movie, the mixing is not fully mastered (just hear how the voice is so much louder than the instrumental, it's not well blended). Probably the official audio when it's released will be a bit better
