This is her new start after her previous darker era, and for now that snake is the icon of her previous era now it turns into Butterfly

I liked this review even though this wasn't your style. Because you seemed curious this is a song for Taylor's upcoming album. Taylor said this is "a song about embracing your individuality and really celebrating it and owning it," and "With a pop song, we have the ability to get a melody really stuck in people's heads, and I just want it to be one that makes them feel better about themselves." Hope to see more Taylor reactions

Her demographic was younger audience 13 years ago ... but even then because of her mature wise story telling ways and catchy songs, all ages listen to her i think. and as she is getting older ... those 13 years ago are now adults... who still love her. and still those who were not born then, listen to her now. id say her demographic is 0-100 lol. I'm 33. I Love Taylor Swift. I love pop, rnb, rap, hiphop. pretty much lots of genres as long as theres a good melody, feeling, lyrics and beat. But most importantly when the artist writes thier own songs and knows how to storytell and sing about thier real life, like Taylor Swift. I also love her because she has gone through so much in the media and always comes back stronger than ever and better, breaking her past records. Her music is so different, each album a new era. To be honest all her music is grown. Even her song "Fifteen" is from a very grown wise place for a teenager. Listen to her albums and you will find as an adult you will be able to relate. Her most mature album (depends on what you think mature is) is reputation. But also RED. and 1989. Yek, you know what listen to her albums and you will see for yourself :)

Her demographic is anyone who likes her songs; but the songs are written about what happens to her. So, when she was 16 and pushing her first record, it had songs written when she was 12-16; she wrote the next album(Fearless) before she was 18; Speak Now before she was 20; Red was out when she was 22; 1989 by 24; by the reputation album she was 27. She just turned 30, young enough to still write for the younger crowd, but she has actually been adding "adult" content all along, without pretending to be older than she is. If she has children, I expect to see songs for young kids again.😊

First Verse: I am not perfect and have lots of anxieties ; second verse (Brendon): I tend to make it all about me, but I want to be with you; Chorus: celebrate yourselves and your individuality Theme of the entire song: Life needs to be fun, and you shouldn't take yourself too seriously. Wrap that up in very light bubblegum pop, because life needs magic and comedy. Is that too childish a theme? It seems a lot like all the "mindfulness" self help psychiatrists are pushing these days. She once said the best revenge was to have more fun than the people who are criticizing you. So, she is having serious fun. And getting as opposite as she can to the dark colors and deep bass and anger of the Reputation era.

Oh and the reason its so fun and childlike and happy is because thats who she is at heart. and she wants to show that. because reputation era was alot darker and came from a painful darker place all about the media and the publics dark twisted perception of her and after kim and kanye went after her reputation to destroy her image and career. After 1989 tour she had a big fall. Everyone calling her a snake, fake, manipulative, for so long she was the victim, etc etc etc etc. And there was a mural in Melbourne (google it) with "rip taylor swift 1989-2016" mocking her "death". people even showing up with flowers making a big joke. it was really cruel. Before this song came out, she collaborated with an artist and made a surprise mural in nashville, a big BUTTERFLY! with flowers, cats, hearts, stars, colours, like this video and it had ME! and so many fans showed up, taking pictures. That is such a strong message. She gets back at her haters and cruel things people do and she uses it all as apart of her art and strong comeback. Like a caterpillar going through transformation (dying) and turning into the butterfly. She is a genius.

The video is talking about his heart. She turned down all that stuff for a cat bc she like cats. Brendon is giving his ❤ to her

It is a shout out to an earlier song, which has a lyric about a kaleidoscope of heartbeats under his coat. The cat bit is about knowing your partner well enough to find just the right thing to touch her heart. It isn't always flowers or jewelry.

the song is supposed to be funny/silly

and she made the song like childish and playful and corny cause she didn't want it to be taken as a serious like sad love song she wanted it to be happy and make people feel good about themselves and honestly I also kinda feel like she went overboard just to make sure that people would understand that it's like a fun and not serious song, cause if she said "I promise that you'll never find another like me" in a serious song everyone would be flipping out and calling her like full of herself and stuff cause people take every chance they can to hate on her but I'm not sure

Also, she said on this album she will have a spectrum of emotions. some bops, and also really really really sad songs.

The creativity in the video is really good however, I am not a fan of this genre. I did like the duet and felt like the vocals were well portrayed.
