Strum patterns aren't really that important, if you notice the artist will sometimes change up the strum pattern in live performances. The strum pattern is really what sounds good to you. If you play and it sounds like the song, then it's right, no matter what pattern you are using.

its like a mute mute down quick up then back to mute mute down for the palm mutes ,mute it down Hope that helps :)

I can't get the hang of palm mutes so I'm not playing it that way. Is the stum pattern just 3 downs and an up on each chord?
