I remember watching this live. I was so impressed that she drenched herself with water. Every other celebrity in the room spent days 'getting ready' for the awards show. She was so secure in herself. She was willing to wash away all the makeup, hair, and fancy clothes. She gained a lot of respect from her fans.

One of the insane things about Taylor is that no matter how far you go back, there's never a time when she didn't have amazing stage presence or confidence. Normally you'd expect to see an old performance where she seemed nervous or even clumsy, but it just doesn't happen. Taylor actually loves rain shows, when she finished up one of her last locations in the Eras Tour, it rained and she said she was glad that it rained on the last possible time they could have had a rain show because all the subsequent shows were in roofed stadiums

For her to be so confident at the CMT’s, in a waterfall scenario?? Her cute face at the end was just adorable. She was so proud of herself and I’m happy for her. Everything she put into that paid off. She really was born to perform!! She still loves to perform in the rain. 😂❤🫶🏼

That's my favorite TS video, and the first time I saw her perform -- at the Country Music Awards show, with all her country music idols in the front rows, giving her a standing ovation! What a thrill for her, what a night for her!

From this Song is a Version with Def Leppard (English Rock Band from the 80er jears) from 2009 from CMT Crossroads on KZbin (only the Audio Version). Taylor and her Band played this song (and other songs from both artists) live on a small stage with the band Def Leppard❤❤❤ I hope she put this Version on Debut (Taylors Version) 😊❤

I went to this tour and it was so amazing to see live! We were waiting by her bus for her to come out, but she was still wet and it was cold out so her manager came out and gave us some guitar picks. It was so nice. I still have mine!

My absolute favorite of younger Taylor is the LIVE tour performance of Long Live (written and dedicated to her fans). You can see her "connection" with the audience started very early in her career. She once told a story about LeAnn Rimes. She dropped a box of pictures to her Hotel the night before the concert. Since she had up-front seats, she asked LeAnn during the show, did you get the box I dropped off, and LeAnn said "yes I did, Taylor". That left a lasting impression on her on how she wanted her fans to feel.
