This is one of her most vulnerable songs, IMO. "Who do I have to speak to?" is such a revealing line. She's such a powerful person, yet when it comes to the one thing she wants more than anything else in this world, she's utterly powerless, and this is the madness, pain, & desperation that that kind of extreme dichotomy creates. She can make ANYTHING happen, but she just can't force someone to love her or see her the way she so desperately craves to be loved and seen. Devastating. 😣

The lack of pauses says it all!!...more listens adds depth... like "Spending my last coin for someone to tell me it'll be OK"(most overlooked line!)...an Arcade automaton(think fortune teller arcade automaton, Like in "Big" etc)...spit out a piece of paper(like a fortune cookie!)...one of my favorites!! Also, a nod to Stivie Nicks! And "the Landslide"... Many layers.
