This song reminds me of a boy in my life that I had feelings for and then he moved away. I never thought I'd see him again, but he ended up moving back and we had our moments.. so basically "this love came back to me." We aren't on speaking terms now, but I still have beautiful memories, both happy and sad, that this song reflects. And I love it. :)

I adore this song + lyrics, it's by far the best from the album. For myself It takes on three different meanings (the chorus specifically)... The song is about one specific lover/partner... But it could also be a story or summary of a couple different lovers/partners ... And my favorite is that it could also be about the love inside yourself, the love you use to love others and the struggle you go through after lots of heart break trying to find that love to give again ...three songs in one for me.. Very magical.

Alexandra Brissett I agree, especially with skull candy for me. This song is different though and don't think I've heard a song like this in earbuds. It like has 2 different voices in each earbud that makes it echo so it's a different experience then listening to it out loud. If this song had existed 5 years ago I would of said this is my Exs and i's song, he's my first love, our love was good but bad, we had a rocky relationship, he at the time didn't want a monogamous relationship but we gave us a chance while he was also dating another girl, we knew about each other, then he finally decided enough was enough and his friends forced him to choose... He picked me over her, him and I knew each other 6 years prior to finally getting our chance together...they had been together a year and a half and living together and yet he still picked me and she had to move out, a month after it was just him and I dating...he dumped me, he was supposed to be moving to Florida in a year and didnt want the attachment, we did a friends with benefits on and off cause we still didn't want to fully give us up.. Then he flirted with my friend in front of me and we had a huge fight...he told me to kill myself like my friend did... We didn't talk for a year, then I had found love again while we weren't talking and he found out, we now 4 years later still have a rocky friendship but we let go of the past, I had to let go of the love we had for each other...but I'd never change a thing cause he taught me a lot
