While I admire Ariana's vocal capabilities and respect her writing work I can't really connect to her songs because sometimes the vocally amazing parts in her songs seem very technical to me while Taylor may lack the very clean vocal technique Ariana has (though she improved a lot!) but gives me much more room to connect to the music and really feel it. This is because she is a singer/songwriter genius imo because of some storytelling twists in the songs. No hate towards both of them, just my personal opinion while trying to lean on Vocal Coaches honestly analyzing the technique of both :)
