This is the single best demo I've seen on a T5. Using the acoustic amp for every setting really unlocked the possibilities of it for me.

Nate I need some help. I'm a fingerstyle solo Jazz player for the most part, Earl Klugh, Joe Pass Charlie Byrd, etc.. It's really hard finding stores in my area that stock this guitar. What top and side woods would you recommend for the T5z for my style of playing? I prefer a warm sound over a bright one. Currently they come with maple top/ash sides Pro model, Mahogany top/sapele sides or Koa top/sapele sides, classic model. Thanks a lot @@naterevolution

nice demo, some great snippets of yacht classics. Yes to Dreamboat Annie - one of the best albums ever, Sing Child tears it up. As for the T5z, great tool for a working musician who doubles or triples. Those that play lots of gigs tend to optimize their setups for quick/easy load-in/out. This beast covers a lot of ground...

Thanks Todd for the encouragement! I agree, the T5z and T5 are workhorses for folks required to be Swiss Army knife guitarists in bands covering a lot of sonic territory. 👍👍👍

I would like to find a video review of this guitar without all of the effects on it, so that I could hear what the guitar sounds like instead of the effects. And just strumming open chords slowly is all the picking that needs to be done.

What does it sound like unplugged ?? It's called acoustic, yet not one KZbinr plays it acoustically !! Everybody does the same presentation !! Generic mind control !
@naterevolution7 ай бұрын
I can help! The T5z doesn’t really have much more acoustic resonance than your typical semi hollow-body electric guitar. Which is by design and why no one has demonstrated this on video. The T5z has an electric guitar playing experience with an acoustic voice from the pickups. It’s one of the easiest guitars you’ll ever play and by virtue of the Taylor electronics, it truly has a unique voice. Hope that helps!

In a live band setting I don't think that guitar would work like the buttons are in a bad position and that knob,ugh it would probably work in a jazz group unnoticed and a country big band,but for a quartet or basic rock band or a open mic,I wouldn't risk it,It just doesn't belong on a live stage,because of the way it looks,I wouldn't even bring it to a professional studio,Better to use a real Taylor acoustic instead of a divided hobbies guitar,too risky,I've seen a lot of people pick that guitar up then put it back on the wall,I'd buy a Les Paul,before I buy that..
@im58woody2 жыл бұрын
They probably put it back because of the price tag. Not because of how it plays or sounds.
