The secret is that HR training doesn't want to tell you what the rules are, they just want to be able to demonstrate "we told them not to do that" if they ever get sued for maintaining a hostile workplace environment. So the HR training is all about telling you not to do anything, and they don't really care how realistic or practical it is.

I was about to write something similar, but while i was reading it another thought ocurred: We all know that, as the ladies in the clip referred to, most people are going to color outside the lines at least sometimes ... but it still may be good to know where the line is, a little like a speed limit, not with the expectation that nobody will ever exceed it, but at least they'll be aware they are getting into a danger zone, so may compensate. As I pass the speed limit, i become a little more alert, think about things like road conditions, visibility, traffic, tire condition, how much sleep or drinks (etc) or road sex or intrusive thoughts i'm having...

Her hr meeting sounds the same as hospitality ones... They give you the same kinda talk and the answers are always no cos that's bad. They always say it will only take maybe an hour and they were lying cos it's always way longer then that. By the time it's done I always complain that I don't know anything anymore cos the rules keep changing and I just learned the other ones now there's more. 😢

It’s a joke. 🤦‍♀️ The underlying point is that this stuff hasn’t been drilled into Taylor and Kelly working in entertainment. That is, they don’t know what is inappropriate. Even if Kyle is attractive, it’s still harassment. But explaining it kills the joke. Thanks.

This is because of federal anti-discrimination laws that have fundamentally undermined freedom of association and freedom of expression. Repealing such laws would not greatly increase actual harmful behavior, because the market selects against companies that discriminate or create hostile work environments based on irrelevant characteristics, as they lose the productivity of workers in those categories. This is why I will vote for Chase Oliver, Libertarian candidate for President, and you should too.
