This song hits way too close to home and unfortunately it's been relatable WAY TOO MANY times. I've been on both sides. I stopped counting the deaths of my closest friends and family after I had enough obituaries to cover my dresser mirror. I changed my life and scraped and clawed my way back outta the hellhole that is addiction 7 years 5 months and 16 days ago and I haven't looked back. I choose to live a better and much more beautiful life each and every day. THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC. We've all gotta share our stories…the good AND the bad. They carry hope. ✌️🏻🤙🏻😊

Thank you, Taylor. I've lost my brother to addiction. He's out there somewhere wasting his life. I'd love to think he'll come back to us stronger some day.

I lost my best friend to suicide when we were both in college 5 years ago. I always felt I should have went instead. He was the smart one, the kind one, the tamed one. Sometimes the world has a funny way of teaching us loss & forcing growth in the most painful ways.
