I got my first wig when I was 18 and it was an auburn color so with my green eyes and brown hair it was a nice change. Kinda sexy. Now I'm 68 and due to age, genetics or a small encounter with COVID my hair started falling out a lot. Handfuls every time I washed or brush it. My hairstylist recommended a local vendor who provided wigs and toppers, etc for cancer patients. Now my wig is rooted and matches my natural “colored” and styled hair. But now I have more hair! I think the stylist trimmed the bangs too short though. I'm not sure of the brand but now I want more! So glad I found your videos! I love the way you put them on upside down and then sling the hair backward to style it.

I absolutely love the back of frosted taupe but I noticed so many of your wigs have such a lighter color in front. I’m not a fan of that. There are many I would choose but for the too much light colors on the bangs and immediate fronts. My favorite is frosted taupe….but, to light in front. I wish it was the same as the back. Silver stone has this same issue. Boo.

Thanks for sharing. For the majority of our clients all over the world, the lighter in the front is most natural and flattering to the skintones. Consider using a color rinse or spray on grey color to darken the colors in the front if you like. xo Rochelle

Hi, I love your videos; you all do a great job at showing how the wigs will look on and how they can be styled. It is always helpful to see the many colors to aid in choosing a color that will be flattering. I am blond and have always had trouble selecting a blond color. I have had to send them back because the blond colors have just been off with my fair complexion. I am perplexed by how all the wigs look so beautiful on each of you in any color; you are so lucky. I have not considered Taylor because it is long, but now after seeing you all try on all the colors I am really liking it. And, my twin sister asked me just the other day, is there a wig color that would be blond/gray. I told her I believe the Frosted Taupe would be "that" color. I may consider it. Going thru chemo. Lost most of my hair. Should I go short with freedom, or long with Taylor? I’m a wig virgin. Help!!

Dear Denise, Rochelle here. First, I'm sorry you're going through this challenge - I'm sending lots of healing love your way. Now to answer your question as best I can: I would consider (in no particular order): 1. The time of year - is the weather going to be more hot or cold? We want you comfortable and not frustrated if you're perspiring more/cold more. Although our wigs have open wefts so your scalp can breathe, it's worth considering when thinking about length. Then remember that we're walking in our A/C offices, homes, malls, and cars. Get what you love! 2. What is your comfort level regarding doing/looking somewhat different - like a different length hair style? If you consider others more than yourself or you're "known" for a certain hair style, is this the time to wear something similar or different? 3. Our wigs are amazing and they can truly be the high point of a challenging situation. If you want/need the lift of something new at this time, a different hair style could be uplifting and even fun! 4. Consider the magic of wigs being that you're not stuck with just one style - you have the freedom to choose exactly how you want to look!!! Unlike our own hair, most of our clients with a hair challenge choose to create a "Wig Wardrobe" meaning that you can have wonderful choices each day by choosing how you want to look with a selection of wigs/pieces/hats with hair, and our Danielle bangs. Even during low points, remember that a little lipstick and blush with a great looking wig can lift you emotionally and that's a big plus. My thoughts for clients going through chemo is that it takes typically 9 to 12 months for your own hair to come back to a style you want to have. And, even the best wig in the universe - worn every single day- can become boring. So, the best idea during this time is to give yourself choices - wigs can be the highlight of some days! Have at least 2 wigs, maybe Freedom and Taylor - 2 fantastic and different wigs. Do not consider the people around you; this is the time for those people to make sure YOU are happy and feel supported. Stand strong in your choices and trust yourself; if someone asks "Is that a wig you're wearing?" Say, 'Yes! I love it! Tomorrow I may be a different color and style!!!" They will LOVE the openness about You! 5 If you're checking out a wig on our videos and it gives you a little giggle inside, this is your clue to seriously consider that style. Maybe it's the colors that inspires you inside; go for that. Our Danielle bangs are also great to be worn under a scarf/turban/hat for inside the house, when friends visit, anytime at all. It's about having options... 6.YOU make your rules and set your own boundaries during this time in your life. If something feels good and makes you happy, go for it! If a thought is fear, address it and grow beyond it. Remember Fear as - False Emotions Appearing Real. You create yourself and set the tone for who you will be in your experience. Wigs and our accessories in a selection of your personal choices can be your best friends! 7. Our return policy is as simple as possible - so try what interests you without worry.
