I once asked the head of the caf at my school to offer more vegan options and he straight up said “but we have salads” totally confused by my request..... and it’s made worse that the salad bar has iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese....

I didn't go to boarding school but still felt that college classes were easy compared to high school. Med school is no comparison though! I study about 12 hours a day because I'm not in the lecture pathway and 16 hours a day on exam weeks. And I feel you on the friend thing; it's so hard to make friends in medical school because I'm older than most of them, went to grad school already and am over the whole 22 year old/post-college thing. Feel like I don't fit in

I regret becoming best friends with my first college roommate she ended up becoming a hateful person towards me our second year together to the point where I have moved to a new dorm and she was my main support on campus so now I'm struggling to remake friends

Although I didn't go to boarding school, I totally get you of the whole friends and clubs thing. I'm not really forced into social events and I only go to specific classes 2/3 days a week, so it's hard to make friends :/ And I am so done with living with a roommate! I want to have my own room next year or I think I might have to quit school to go to the insane asylum tbh
