I saw this in store and 16* three wood and high launch shaft made me try and love. Great for 70 yr. Old guy.

Had the HD 5 and 7 wood for 6 weeks now. Had a TM fitting at my home club. WOW have they ever made a difference to my game.. 170 to 210 yard fairway shots are hugely improved. So easy and satisfying to hit. I used to push / fade 90% improvement in my direction and straightness. 18.4 index player

Spot on Andy - played 7 wood of most of the tees on Sunday - ok off the yellow but easier than the driver kept it on the short stuff because of the high loft - been looking for this club for ages looks great sits great - got rid of the 3 wood as well and leaving driver at home and it really drops your score down!

these have me very intrigued ..... i just got the last years stealth 3HL......now i am thinking of adding the Stealth 2 HD in the 5 wood and 7 wood.....very excited at the thought of the high ball flight....cheers from Canada

Looks like the face is square but "Internal weighting encourages a draw-bias ball flight". That way the club looks square at address and it's easier to be square at contact as well. The low profile makes it easier to sweep the ball off the deck. They have 7 wood too in this HD.

My guess is that this 16-degree 3wood, with a deep-off-the-ball-CG, is going to dynamically present 5wood type loft at impact - the benefit here is that this 3wood has a larger footprint than most 5woods will have and it will be 1/2" or so longer - so for 90% of golfers out there who likely can't really hit a 3wood, this will be a much, much better choice - similarly, I think that 5wood may act like a perfect 7wood for most Average Golfers.

I think that’s solid advice

Andy I would like you to compare the TM to the Ping; both are lower profile. I would love to see the differences.

would love to see that as well

thanks for another great video Andy. Did you try these with the stock Fujikura Speeder NX Red Shaft and if so what flex, just wondering how that shaft held up as it does have quite a bit of torgue

Look really nice but IMO an average golfer should not bother with a 3w. A well struck 5w will carry over 200 yards - I get 210 yards carry from fairways with the 5w and 200 yards with the 7w and I have similar club head speed to Andy - the 5w & 7w will always be easier to handle than the 3w. We need to be realistic as golfers, if you have 220+ yards into a green we need 2 shots to get there! And off the tee for tight par 4s, a well struck 5w will go 220-230 yards (total not carry) leaving a short iron or wedge into the green for any par 4 up to 350 maybe even 370 yards long - longer than that and you need to take driver off the tee.

I can't stand shallow faced fairway woods. I prefer the old, old school profile. That gives me confidence! Those shallow faced ones look like they'll miss half the ball. I play A-Grind Cross Woods (JDM clubs) 3w-16.5*, 5w-20*, and 7w-23*. The sound at impact is truly wonderful. I play them for the same reason(s) you praise loft.

Hey Andy how does the shape and design compare to Callaway’s fairway woods? I’m a big fan of the shallow face just can’t do the Paradym ugliness.

That sure looks like The Farms. I play it on FSX Play.

Andy, could you please consider a comparison between a 3 or 5 wood in both the Stealth 2 Plus (weight set back) and the Stealth 2 HD?

Yes absolutely
