I dress shopped in NYC and went to so many freaking dress shops. I thought I found "the one" so many times. I almost bought a dress from Spina Bride - like got the invoice and everything. and then I watched back the video on the subway ride home of myself walking in it and not standing on the platform and I didn't like it! So pro tip - take pics and video - standing on and off the platform and walking. Have funnnn!

Had so much fun watching this! I think my fave was that very simple classic one with no lace or embellishment. It looked very classic 1950s or 60s and timeless. I loved it. It reminds me of my dress except my dress was short. However I also can see you in tule and lace. I know you will make the perfect decision!

Let me give you a very important tip for a strapless dress. When you have your fittings, make sure your waist at your hips is a tad tight. That is what is going to hold your dress up, and will keep from you tugging it up all night. Also your dress will stretch as the night goes on so make sure you feel a bit snug at the beginning of the day. It is not a given that seamstresses will just do this they will generally let you lead the fit. Not so tight you can’t breathe of course just a good nip at the waist. Most people think the bust is what holds it up , but it is the waist. I hate watching a bride tug on her dress all day. Also maybe add some snap on straps for end of the day dancing, they don’t have to come with the dress, maybe just some pearl or beaded ones you can snap in for worry less getting down on the dance floor😉😂

I agree with everyone in the comments: you should be a wedding dress model, I have never seen anyone wear every single dress so perfectly! No wonder Kleinfeld put you front and center and the designer specifically came over to speak with you! The dress at (25:05) reminded me of a take on vintage Schiaparelli and you wore it like a Queen (although I don’t see it as the final choice lol). It stands to reason that Kleinfeld’s is Pnina heavy - she designs exclusively for Kleinfeld’s. When I was wedding dress shopping, I took my mother with me the first time I shopped, as a courtesy to her - she and my father eloped because he was about to be shipped out during WWII, so she never got to have the wedding dress experience for herself. I also met my father at one of the major department stores where I had an appointment at their bridal salon. He cried the whole time. After that I went by myself - didn’t even take my bridesmaids gown shopping with me because I didn’t need or want anyone’s opinions, or criticism, or drama. No one saw my gown until The Day, which was exactly the way I wanted it. You have to follow your own head and heart.

As an older woman who has a lot of opinions.. lol. I am going to leave you with this.. keep in mind that you will probably never be as slim as you are at this time in your life so I say flaunt it! I also think lace is a little maturing, and a little old fashion and kind of busy. . I think you are leaning more towards a full skirt and a “princessy look. It’s tempting, but I would stay classic,simple and modern. Think Princess Kate or Megan Markle…You can opt for a slimmer fit that flatters your beautiful figure and then add a train for the ceremony and you could then remove it for the reception. Rich, Classic and elegant. And maybe just a little glitz would also be gorgeous! I definitely did not like most of those with bodices they put you in. I thought most of them looked too structured with all those bones. I found those very distracting. What ever you decide I’m absolutely sure you will be gorgeous! Can’t wait to see what you pick!

@@TaylorMorello I know it’s tempting and when you are young you think you want the princess full gown. I did that too and my mom and my Aunt begged me not to get it. They even offered to pay the extra to get a more sophisticated dress. I didn’t do it. I was only 18! I regretted it my whole life! Now I truly understand the power of simple, classic, and sophisticated design elements. That’s why I suggest an add on train that you can remove after the ceremony. With the addition of a train and a dramatic veil I think you get the best of both worlds. A slimming fit will be a little more sexy and not so youthful and you will look back on it and say, YES, I looked fabulous in that dress on my wedding day!

Taylor, you looked very pretty in all the dresses you tried on but I think some of them were just that, pretty dresses but not wedding ones, also thought some were a little too sexy to be called wedding dresses. There were a few that I think could be the one but only you can decide that. I think we thought you would get one like a princess would wear, lots of lace, a full skirt followed by a headpiece with a veil attached to it similar to a tiara. I think you have spoiled us with how great your taste in clothes is so I guess we are expecting something that will take our breath away. It is like you said you will know when it is the one, you will just feel it and we will also love it as much as you do. I cannot wait to see which one it will be. I was also wondering if you will be wearing your hair in a bun like it was for all the dresses you tried on I read somewhere that you should also wear your hair as you will on your wedding day to see how it compliments the gown you choose.

The Kleinfields place seems like you are paying more for the hype of the tv show. The designer coming out was nice, but seems like part of a sales pitch to me. I honestly love the beautiful simplistic but elegant spaghetti strap lacy dress from the first place the best and I imagine it has a more reasonable price tag❤
