Great with this fight, loved it. Although, Hickey keep your head up, the ref needed to be more firm with the points deductions. The Aussie boy fought very well. Great fight boys.

it could go either way, but i think Peters(AUS) was done wrong by the Referee failing to give warning from the 1st round for a repeated foul and a major foul that is. Peters is more impressive and he looks like a Work in progress. i felt like he was improving as the bout went.

How many warnings did Hickey need to get , before that ref started to take points off of him ? I counted at least 14 warnings to Hickey. A third warning for breech of the rules , is an instant disqualification

There's been some suspect refereeing in the commonwealth games this year. Peters vs the Indian lad had some shocking refereeing too where the Indian fighter got a standing count even though he was firng back and landing. A point was deducted for using the head too and it wasn't as bad as this fight. I'm from UK but Peters was unlucky here. Great boxer. He is going to go on to massive things.

It is evident that Hickey secured the victory decisively. The referee’s numerous warnings, which seemed disproportionately excessive, did not alter the clear outcome of the match. Notably, Callum Peters, the Australian boxer, also exhibited remarkable skill during the bout. The focus should remain on the evident performance and the merit of the athletes rather than the procedural nuances.

Razor thin rounds. Beautiful boxing

It was close but the scot won. Sam's straight left right got him more points. Callum was swinging a lot. Such blows connect less.

Hickey won round 1, Callum won rounds 2, and 3 though in my opinion.

Great performance by both young men. But the young Australian was robbed hard. You guys should be ashamed of yourselfs. Same thing happened to Floyd. And he become the most successful boxer.

I don't think you watched the same match as me because clearly Sam (SCOT) Won this bout and the Australian was really impressive too.. The referee warned SAM for having head movement i don't understand wtf was that
