Your video just made me add something to my bucket list. My four grandparents came through Ellis Island in the early 1900's with all their worldly possions in their bag. They did not speak English and were pesants in their own country (Lithuania). They risked all to come to the US to start a new life that would be better for their family. They truly gave me the life that I enjoy today. My new bucket list item is to sail my Beneteau 440 past Ellis Island and salute my grandparents for all that they gave me.

Our first trip with our boat the fan belt broke batteries went dead sailed to a marina. Hitched hiked to a auto parts store and back. Thought we made a mistake but it’s a learning adventure. Hang in there it will all be fine. Best of luck to you.

make sure the thru-hull is clear and the hoses to the engine. they can get plugged if the boat has been sitting. I had the same problem with my boat when first picking it up
