@@ThunderofDarkcloud I’m not a unicorn. I just try my hardest to maintain integrity & honesty. I expect the same during vetting for my future husband. It usually takes a week maximum until glaring red flags pop up. No one can hide them for long. The issue lies usually in overlooking them or making excuses. The last man I gave a chance to made a decision to lie to me until I was emotionally invested. He revealed after a week that he had a small child from his previous marriage. That is just as bad as single mothers who pretend to be child free until the man is hooked and then drop the bomb that oh by the way, they have 1-3 kids. That’s unfair and immoral. Being a single dad is forgivable, being a liar isn’t. Withholding vital information makes it a lie by omission, so I cut him loose. Lies are like roaches - where you find one, there are many more to be found. Of course it’s painful and disappointing but the alternative of settling for an unreliable and untrustworthy man is far worse. The respectable thing would have been to reveal before or during date 1: “by the way I have A small child so it’s up to you whether you want to keep seeing me or not” WITHHOLDING the information is a manipulative ploy to gain the upper hand. If you want to protect your kids, don’t show pics or reveal names - but there is nothing damaging in saying “I have A 2 year old”. Then the bullshit excuses poured in that it was “revealed so early” because “he was serious about me”. Noooooope. Get out.

Well, the thing is, I used to know hospitals as those giant dating pools and marriage markets. I have seen countless male doctors dating and marrying female nurses. The other way around? Not _once_ in decades. They would _never_ do that, the mere thought would never cross their minds for even a second. A male nurse is simply beneath them, they would feel embarrassed appearing at a social event with, god forbid, a _nurse,_ ugh... The only really fun part about this is, thanks to the patriarchy, 70% of med students here in Germany are female by now and the ratio of female to male physicians in german hospitals looks accordingly. So they still want that man that is higher on the social ladder than they are and who makes significantly more money than they make, but don't even think for a moment about the tiny, insignificant fact that _they have replaced_ all those men. Wanna hear a disturbing statistic? The US Centers for Blood (handles blood stores/donations) released a study that showed that there have been times in recent history (over the past 25 years) where it was discovered in scenarios where blood was needed for a child in a familial situation (child had injury or needed surgery) and both parents were tested as possible donors, that there were blood type mismatches in up to 30% OF CHILDREN TESTED. You read that right - as many as 30% of children out there were not sired by their fathers. Let that sink in for a moment.... This is why paternity tests should be mandatory when any baby is born in any hospital in the US before any man signs any birth certificate. Period.

Married 10 years in. The reward in marriage is when you age and become a home body lol. The older the body gets the less energy you have and the more you appreciate the small things. In my 30's on a Saturday I mow the lawn while my wife cleans the house then we go out for lunch. Hit the mall or do a little shopping and we're worn out. We come home and enjoy the evening at home. Sometimes family comes over. Most young people don't understand you won't be young forever full of energy partying all night long and dating new people. When you age you realize you made the right choice. Life gets easier with a life partner helping you out with life's problems. I couldn't imagine dating 35 year old damaged leftovers in hopes of finding wifey material. I see why man date young women.
@Furzkampfbomber2 жыл бұрын
The problem is that most contemporary women don't really want the marriage. They want the Disney wedding, they want the benefits that come with a marriage _for them_ and that's it. I have seen couples like yours, some in private life and a lot of them in my professional life as a nurse and they _all_ are older folks. I am talking 40, 50 years of marriage here. The thing is, those people are a different breed and of a very different uprising. One can't change female nature, but uprising and education can surely help keeping its bad sides at bay and the women on track. I am talking about folks who have experienced the hunger years after WW1 or WW2, people like my grandparents, who understood that a marriage is a partnership of convenience, where both people combine resources in order to survive. People who understood that those efforts are _mutual_ and that a marriage is actual and constant work. I guess that is why so many arranged marriages worked out quite well in former times, they _needed_ to get along in order to survive and with the experience that they could actually could rely on each other often came affaction and later on, maybe even true love. Today, most men instinctively see marriage still the same way, we are just hardwired to be the caretakers and providers, whereas women's nature is very different and a lot more... fickle and nothing is keeping it at bay anymore.

@@Furzkampfbomber And in a way it's a good thing. We are now in a Social Darwinist experiment and all of the insane women WILL NOT bear their genes on to the next generation. Sadly many decent men won't either but that's just the price that must be paid for the selections and preferences for many females.

Something that is already obvious to most men is that anyone who wants to find a way to be happy will actually go out and do it instead of posting TikToks about it.

It's so funny because they do literally nothing to go out and do the things that will bring them "happiness". All they do is go out to nightclubs and sleep around with strangers. Like no shit you don't feel fulfilled. Apparently their solution to everything is racking up higher and higher body counts.

Women's main reason for divorce thirty years ago - he was actually abusive (as in other people actually saw the abuse) agreed best for both. They throw away all the good men for some “excitement” then get mad when the bad boys don’t want to commit to them. They are so smart, brave and independent. I’ll bet her husband was a good guy who loved her and she got bored with being treated well and in a stable loving partnership. They don’t want that they want a playa to run them through otherwise they get bored.

If she's so damn insane that she refuses a good thing when she has it then it's totally her fault. But saying this makes you a "misogynist." Accountability is NOT misogyny, don't let the freaks tell you otherwise. My only gripe is that good men and their kids actually have to financially and emotionally suffer because of her. (But on a side note don't be surprised if both she and her daughter are chasing the same Chad.)

I think women like a guy who is a little broken so that they can work on fixing him. I have been married for over 35 years and remain in a perpetual state of brokenness and my wife stay in a perpetual state of happiness trying to fix me. She has made progress but there is still more to fix. Occasionally I come across a couple where the man isn't broken and the woman eventually leaves.
