"I am the table" OK, then. A table is the beating heart of a household. Children are fed, educated and disciplined, all supported by a table. A table quietly waits at home, ready to present food to the working family members on their arrival. A table can be decorated, often for guests, but usually is utilitarian in appearance, often scuffed and stained from use. A table displays trophies and centerpieces, but never detracts attention away from them. Are these women sure they want to be tables?

Actually it’s really sad when a woman says that as it shows her complete lack of knowledge of the analogy in question. The “table” is the bargaining table when two sides come to work out some mutually beneficial agreement. Therefore the table is literally nothing, it is what each party has of value to bargain with. In terms of dating and relationships we all know that women look for men to bring financial stability and high social status to the table. In previous generations, the women offered purity, children, and homemaker skills. Today’s women bring used up lady bits, entitled attitudes, Chad of Tyrone’s by blows, drama, and the very real threat of the loss of a man’s resources and status. So in a way, she is correct in that she is the table: she offers nothing to the man on the other side.

Not to mention... y'know, the whole being alive thing. If you think men are so useless, are you prepared to give all that up? Most modern women can't go five seconds without a phone, but question the use of men? You literally have 50% of your father's life force coursing through your veins, Queen. "if im not going out at night, you shouldnt either. thats not fair and you know it" ... etc etc etc YET... the less I went out and did guy things with my friends, business trips, whatever, the less respect she had for me, the less bed-stuff I got, and the more I was belittled. Absolute insanity. I've always been a literal guy, so it took me years to figure out that I cant apply that rule to everything women say.
@khalaq23 жыл бұрын
"Girls would rather be with guys who have options." In this case, "options" refers to available sexual partners. Did you actually have other girls falling all over themselves to be with you? If not, then you didn't have "options." One thing your story does demonstrate, however, is how kowtowing to a woman's demands diminishes her respect for you. And without respect, there is no love. As you pointed out, it is foolish to take what a woman says literally. Instead, preface everything that comes out of her mouth with "At this moment, I feel like..." That will be more accurate, and as we all know, how a woman feels varies from one minute to the next.

I thought that after marriage the respect of my wife was automatic- the way she assumes my love to be. Not the case at all and the marriage got better when I quit trying to do everything to make her happy. They always say “nothing sexier than a man doing dishes” and they believe it. But really down deep it’s not true even if they don’t realize it and when I relegated myself to “doing only the man jobs” and left the “woman’s jobs” to her and the kids everything got much better. I didn’t realize how important it is for the partners to stay in their lanes. Sure if it’s needed I will cook or do the dishes to help, but it’s a rare occasion now. The plumbing electrical and construction and wood chopping stuff is always on my shoulders so, yes, her respect comes easier when I stay in my lane. I never got any love when I was mopping and washing trying to “make her happy”.

This guy buys stuff for himself all the time and she never has money to anything. What she has goes to bills and kids nessesary items. Me and my husband both work, we pay things almost 50/50. I pay bit more. When i was home with our kids, i cooked, cleaned, took care of kids etc. so when he cane home he could spend time with our kids and not think about chores. when i had to go back to work, we shared chores and we both have our own task at home and it works, we are a tem. That last story is so much about love bombing and so much manipulation taking place. I'm still healing from the Trauma Bond that takes place with some one with NPD, the minute she went and started crying about how no one loves her because he didn't bring her flowers and all that bullshit, that is the finest emotional manipulation there is. God if I only had found this channel back when i was 32. Edit: Commented before the end of the story, the stuff about the abusive ex's and the abusive parents or whatever, though perhaps true with Parents, is just another form of manipulation on her part as well and even the not abandoning her ect. You can spot some one with NPD from a mile a way, it's always a similar pattern, it's always something to get you more emotionally invested in them and to play on your compassion. I hope he listened to friends and left and escaped, before she starts to abuse him, because the stuff about abusive exes is the projection done by a Narc, they project the abuse they do to their exes and say it was the ex that abused them.

She's like "are you going to do half the cleaning? You going to do half the cooking?" I do that already for myself as a single man. I have a successful professional career that I work in PLUS I do absolutely everything else for myself on top of all that. 100% of the cooking, cleaning, laundry, housekeeping, decorations, furniture... all of it. Now realize that a woman wants you to think that she's doing you a favor by coming into your life and doing HALF of this crap you already can do 100% for yourself BUT in return she expects YOU to provide: A house, homeowner's insurance, furniture, appliances, electric, water, sewer, gas, internet, a car(s), automobile insurance, maintenance, oil changes, fuel, all her clothes, makeup, shoes, bags, accessories, beauty products, hygiene products, feminine care products, health insurance, co-pays, vacations, fancy dinners out, latest iphone, tablet, PC, entertainment, TV, cable or streaming services, property taxes, investments in index funds/stocks/401K, retirement, all the food, the cookware, the dishes and placesettings, silverware, glasses, budget for redesigns, decorations, cleaning supplies, toiletries, vacuums, mops, bleach, sanitizers, wipes, cleaning gloves, an expensive bed, sheets, pillows, rugs, and I could go on and on. They expect men to provide them with EVERYTHING and yet they want to bitch at us about helping them do 50% of the cleaning around the house? These lazyass, entitled western women are useless. They say they are the table? How the fuck are they the whole table? They only say that because they know damn good and well that they don't bring shit to the table and expect a man to literally provide her with everything. Is she going to pay for half of all that shit? Is she going to cut half the grass? Is she going to powerwash half the siding? Is she going to clean out half the gutters? Hell no. She's not going to do any of that shit because that's a "man's job". Yet if we try to tell her that just taking care of the house (which is something single men already do for themselves anyway) is a "woman's job" they freak out and act like they're being oppressed. These women are straight up trying to take advantage of us, in fact they think they are entitled to take advantage of us. Spoiled fucking rotten. Time to give these 304's a reality check.

Hey Taylor. Regarding the table at 1:55. It looks like it has no screws left in it! They all fell out, dude! Too many previous reservations! That's one rickety, squeaky ass table!

You did say it right there, It's a "Situationship" A relationship is a 2-way street. This isn't it. You are becoming a Life needs provider. The fact that you two outgrow each-other can happen. Nothing negative about you or her. I had the same happening after 15 years of marriage. She also met someone who gave her something new and the relationship we had was not keeping her attention anymore. So paths can go other ways, start with letting go and continue on your own with an agreement for your child(ren).

i've taken women on "5 star" sushi dates and the best I got was a kiss and the "you are so sweet but" at the end. I don't date at all anymore but if i did it would be coffee only and just a meet up.

But on a less joking note what are some good sushi spots I haven’t been to a sushi restaurant before is there much of a difference between a 4* vs a 5*. I would love to know like does it taste better or just more expensive?

I think that was a freudian slip there, "doing a man's job and woman's job". So basically doing it all. Will they give half the electrical repairs, half the house bills, half the lawn work, half the trash work, half the tech work, half the bills. Some might and I'd say they're great if that can be maintained, but that often isn't the case. You could work 80 hours a week and still be demanded that you contribute on top of that.

She couldn't do the easy half of my work but I could do the hard half of her work in my sleep. They don't want half, just what they say is half. They're not very good at math.
