For no makeup makeup days my absolute fav is Laura Merciers translucent powder in glow. Perfection! It’s WAYYYY to glowy to be used as a setting powder (for me). I discovered this while setting my face when I first got it and I looked like Austin Powers Goldmember. Had to start all over. But when used as a light highlighter....friggin AWESOME!

I found the Physicians Formula shimmer strip highlighter at Marshalls for $3.99!! It’s amazing I love it so much, it’s the only highlight I use now. I have all the Anastasia pallets, but they emphasize my texture so much. Thank you for the amazing recommendation! :)

I have the Revolution Just My Type highlighter and one of my favorite ways to use it is actually on my eyes on top of a medium matte brown eyeshadow. I'll take my same highlighting brush and dust a little over my eyes and it makes them look slightly wet and reflective.

*Taylor, you HAVE TO get the Bare Minerals Invisible Highlight in the shade 'Fair/Light' it's $22 and it's basically the Essence Pure Nude highlighter formula only in a lighter shade. The Essence one is also too dark for me but the Bare Minerals is beautiful! It's got a translucent base with a very subtle peachy pink shift. I'd love to see you try it in a video. Also, Hard Candy has a Dome Glow highlighter in the shade 'Rose Gold' for $6 you'll LOVE, too!*

Finally someone recognized the Collab Highlighter! It’s beautiful! Been using it for over two years now. Also Honest Beauty makes a stunning soft highlighter. It’s marketed as a luminizing glow powder but works beautifully as a subtle highlighter. Oh- one more.... PF makes a Translucent Illuminating Finishing powder that works perfect for a very subtle highlighter- more subtle than essence’s highlighter. 🌻🐝

I have an equal mix of highend and drugstore highlighters. I swear I like drugstore more. My favorites- the wet n wild megaglo in bloomtime, the maybelline master chrome in molten pearl or rose gold, and bh cosmetics had a 6 pan highlighter that was outstanding (don’t know if you can still buy it). My favorite loose highlighter is the Coty airspun loose highlighter in whatever the lightest shade is called- beautiful! A subtle highlighter is the wet n wild bronzer in the shade reserve your cabana. Not a bronzer at all- I’m super pale. I actually use it as a finishing powder. I like it more than the hourglass ambient lighting powders.

You should try the revolution pro skin finishes! The shades luminescence and opolecent are so beautiful and perfect for pale to light skin. You can wear it all over your face to give you a glow or just wear it on the high points for a nice glow from within, which can be built up, but still fairly subtle. It sits beautifully on the skin and zero glitter. I just love them so much

I recently discovered the Jordana Glow N’ Go Strobing Stick and it would definitely fit with these highlighters since it’s less than $5, not sparkly and looks super natural. My only complaint is you can only find it at Walgreens.

This inexpensive highlight has a nice beautiful glow with no sparkles, no disco look. It's just a very pretty highlight and I'm on my 5th one and my high end and other drugs stores ones sit. I'm light/medium and more medium this time of year.

Try the technic highlight powder. It's a UK brand but it's on Amazon for 7$. Its a dupe for the hourglass. The packaging is flimsy but other than that its perfection.

Great video idea! I never hit pan on highlighters but i always want to try new ones and it seems like the drugstore is picking up their highlighter game for sure! Also, a big plus bc they don't emphasize texture! When i have a lupus flare up i can get some texture on my face that's frustrating! I really want to try the pixi and the Milani. I didn't pick up the Milani bc i didn't feel like I'd get enough use out of the pinkie shade but you came through with the blush topper recommendation! Thank you! You look great!

I have Makeup Revolution's Affection eyeshadow palette and the 4th shadow on the top row is so great for highliting!
