Tayo, The Bahamas is not the most expensive island. You have other islands that are more expensive: Bermuda, Turks and Caicos, Cayman, St. Barths, Guadeloupe, Martinique, French St. Martin. I am from The Caribbean region, The Dutch Caribbean, to be specific. I know all of the islands because I have traveled them since childhood, and I created an informational software about them, too.

It’s expensive to him because in Africa it’s much cheaper so that’s why he said that.

Well done, Tayo Aina. You're truly inspirational. To imagine that you were at a low point in your life at some time during Covid but you pulled yourself out of depression and made your dream come alive straight from the confines of your room in Lagos. This is simply amazing! You were just like any other Nigerian on the street without any 'connection' but with data and a smartphone you created your present reality. I'm super inspired, bro. I'm in my mid-life and have always dreamed of being a helicopter and small aircraft pilot. Contemplating that you made what seemed like impossible your reality inspires me. Thank you, Tayo Aina.

I think Tayo knows it already lol. I mean, they talked and they share accents. He said they came in from Miami, in response to the question asked. They weren't asked to declare their nationality.

Great video! I’m Bahamian through my father and have dual citizenship. I was born in the states and lived in Nassau from ages 9 months until 6 years. I’ve been back in the states since. One thing I want to point out is the indigenous population of the Bahamas is the Lucayans/Taínos. They were “Black” and were already there. The minority of the inhabitants came from the slave trade. I know this from doing my genealogical research. Ancestral DNA tests are a farce, but familial DNA tests are usually accurate. Thanks again for showing my ancestral home!❤

So happy watching this, very educational and real. That's what it's like in the Bahamas, visiting or living; the cost, the people, talking a lot of jokes and general friendliness, the stability. New subscriber here 😊 🇧🇸 🇧🇸🇧🇸

Tayo congrats on your Bahamian vacation🐚 Prices seem to increase significantly since covid. I've seen less at Sheraton & British Colonial. Good you found the Fish Market & Fish Fry. There is a beautiful Zoo & Botanic Gardens near the Fish Fry. Andros, Bimini & Eluthera are great islands to explore, Grand Bahama is Touristic. Kalik is most relaxing🍺 Cable Beach, Nassau is beautifully famous🌊

Don't go to the Dominican Republic they don't like African looking people there, if you doubt me ask Dr Maponga or Antigua.

I grew up in the bahamas, it was great, I'd recommend going to st Thomas on your next trip, the other half of my family is from there and as much as the bahamians love to chill and vibe the vi people love to party, go during carnival and you'll have a good time.

It has been an amazing thimg to see so many African content creators traveling to and exploring the Caribbean in the past few months. I_am_Marwa,Dee Mwango,African Tigress,Wode Maya and Miss Trudy.and Tayo Aina...you have brought some invaluable content and experiences to the diaspora, and the world, that has inspired other people to get on with the business of traveling, and experiencing the different peoples and cultures of the world..keep up the great work that you and many others are doing..and even though I am from a Caribbean island (St Thomas,USVI),I haven't been to many of the places you've been to, but I am even more excited now to vist them because of the experiences I've seen. Continue to do this good work, and bring the diaspora closer to unity..
