The pistons in their glory days were such a selfless team, whoever was hot got the ball, no superstar, those were the days. Here's hoping this current young crop turns into something special

I was at this game, and Game 5 against the Lakers the following year. I can say, in good conscience, this game was exponentially louder. When Prince hit both the equalizer to force OT and the 3 in OT, that was the loudest I have ever heard The Palace.

Prince is a terrific player. He'll probably always be less famous over other NBA superstars, but he's definitely a clutch scorer and outstanding defensive player. He's has a high BBall IQ.
@j_mac715 жыл бұрын
Does any one remember a while back when I think Tay was a rookie and they were playing the 76ers. Tayshaun was making Iverson look like a fool on the right baseline, crossing him over and scoring on him? I don't know why I remember it but it was like my first Pistons memory.
@bigern7615 жыл бұрын
one thing I love about Tayshaun he's not only a clutch offensive player he's a clutch defensive player........ how many Game saving blocks has Lebron or Kobe made??

I love tayshauns still. It's awkward yet smooth at the same time if that makes any sense.

Go Team USA, go Tayshaun.
@cesky4217 жыл бұрын
You're wrong, buddy. His layup after the roll may not have been steps- but he obviously made steps when he started to dribble (he dribbled the ball not on the first but on the second step).

They should have gotten John Saunders more involved since he was around the NBA as one of the voices of the Toronto Raptors. Also, Dan Shulman and Dave Barnett should have been involved. Instead ESPN gave us guys who never did play-by-play radio or television of an NBA game until 2002-2003 in Tirico and Brad Nessler. Musburger was probably their only bright spot in their coverage. Tirico has improved on TV, but on radio he needs more work. I wish Musburger came back and Jon Miller got involved.

Now kids, Tayshaun Prince is one hell of a player, great defender, and he can throw it down too. He is no LeBron though. 7 points in overtime against a 76ers team? Yea thats okay. But don't forget LeBron now owns the bad boys. I mean he only did score like 25 straight points on the road there in the ECF... Tayshaun= all round great player. LeBron= Face of the NBA along with Kobe.

@Rucks90 We must be watching two different brands of basketball over the past three or four years... its cool you have your opinion I have mine.
@bigern7615 жыл бұрын
Oh yea because when I said he's clutch overall I was mainly basing that statement of this video only >_>.

In European Basketball you may take one step lesser than in the NBA and College.. and the Ref Calls it everytime it so fun to watch American Basketball players come to Europa and have 12 Turnovers every game because of 10-11 Traveling Calls xD anyways in NBA the Refs Calls Traveling when the player Reach his 4-5 step... Allen Iverson make 10-20 Travellings Fauls every game but get like highest one call...

Tayshaun is great. However, this video ends with B. Wallace hitting two straight free throws. You'll never see that again. Hopefully next season Big Ben has to take some free throws with Chicagos season on the line.

They couldn't do shit with The Palace Prince!!! Detroit baby!!!!
@cesky4217 жыл бұрын
he dribbles on the 2nd step and he should have dribbled on the first. Talk to someone with knowledge whom you know and respect and he'll confirm you that. I'm a huge Pistons fan by the way, but that doesn't mean I'm blind on Pistons- related stuff. I simply can't stand that the refs hardly call steps, that destroys the game.

Were the Sixer uniforms black or navy?
@lousanto10543 жыл бұрын
They were black in this game, but they also had a navy road uniform. Personally, I didn't like the black; I love the old school logo and colors they went back to.

Travelling I'm telling you (sec 00:14)
@cesky4217 жыл бұрын
travelling, yes- sad enough, refs don't call it in the NBA, I've never seem them calling it at least. One of the reason the niveau of the league has decreased.
