I would love to see highlights of all the perfect dimes Hill threw that were dropped. It got to be ridiculous. What could he do with a healthy O-line and receivers? He learned to get the ball off in 2.5 seconds from the pocket that was always quickly collapsing. Sky is the limit because we've barely seen him get a chance at the reps necessarily for confidence. For years focusing on gadget play did not give him QB experience to settle in. But now I think he has the reps under his belt to continue that 153 QB rating from the Falcons game.

Anyone that watches this video and says Taysom hill is not a quality starter is a idiot dude is better then some of these dudes starting his legs alone makes him a dangerous qb let alone he can make enough throws to win games. If Payton was our coach Winston would be gone and Taysom would be the starter he deserves a full season to start i do t care what anyone says or thinks he has earned one year as the starter period Taysom hill has done so much for the saints I don’t care if he went 1-16 he deserves one full season to show what he can do. Not a season with him randomly inserted as the starter but one season as the full time starter we are going to lose him he will demand a trade and he will go help another team win a Super Bowl with his skill set guranteed

There's a lot of players that can catch. There's a lot of players that can run through tackles. Not as many, but a good number of players can throw a long bomb, read option, throw a laser to the out man. There are many players who have blocked punts.... But to have all of that in 1 package... No, there is only 1 Taysom Hill. If it were so easy, every team would have a gadget quarterback.

I will admit that Taysom Hill does have problems, but I hate that last year after Drew Brees cracked his ribs, and Sean Payton announced that Taysom Hill would get the start instead of Jameis Winston people freaked out, then after the first Falcons game they would say "Taysom is awesome", then the next week against the Broncos they say "Hill is trash", then the next week against the Falcons again they would say, "Taysom Hill is amazing", then the next week against the Eagles they said, "Hill is awful", but refuse to call out Sean Payton for ditching the run game, or the Saints defense for how bad they played. I also hated that people would say, "Ian Book is better and he hasn't even thrown a pass yet", during the offseason. I hated that fans asked that the team immediately tank just because on the first day of practice Sean Payton decided to give Taysom Hill starting reps. I also hated that fans were in denial just because Taysom Hill did better than Jameis Winston for *ONE DAY* and claiming it was fake. I also hated that people acted like Winston won the QB contest by more than he actually did. The one thing that I hated the most was that people would magnify every mistake that Taysom Hill made and minimizing anything great he did, while doing the exact opposite for Jameis Winston. I also hate that people say that he's just like Tim Tebow, when he's shown to be more accurate than Tebow could ever dream of

As far as I am concerned, the Winston and Dalton experiment is over. I think they should give Hill a shot and I mean a legit shot. He is 7-2 as a starter and modifying the offense to more of an RPO type offense with he and Kamara in the backfield would be the way to move forward in my opinion. I think people forget MT had some really big games with Taysom at QB. The whole team seems to pick it up when Taysom is in charge. I think he makes players around him better which is what we need from our QB.

@@jordimandujanoramos It was, you are right. He was a rookie at the position and with all the hate, I'm sure it was a bit harder to find rhythm with his injuries and decimated team. Please do me a favor; check out highlights from last 2 games. His long passes are now a thing of beauty. And if you can find full games to see the tons of perfect dropped passes, it's crazy how good he became. His mids and short passes were already more consistent than Jameis in training camp. Don't listen to the bias, go and watch. Also, constant excuses are made for Jameis and Book because of the O-line and receiver core.
