i think if this dude go 1/1/1/1 effreets instead demons it would work much better, bcs u get more dmg on ur units from from the fire shield question for people how works this passive from tazar? normaly armory has 15% dmg reduction at the end, but how it works with tazar? is it like 5% stronger i mean lvl 10tazar has 65%? it sounds ridiculous so i think 10lvl tazar has +50% from 15% it means he has 22.5% reduction, am i right?

Hey Lex! Why is Tazar better than Crag Hack? Since expert armorer gets you 15% damage reduction and expert attack nets you +30% melee damage, Crag Hack should be better than Tazar, shouldn't he? And the faster you kill the enemy the less important is magic (and with Tazar it's more likely to have longer battles than with Crag Hack).

armorer reduces all damage taken which applies to every situation while melee damage only applies to some situations would be the reason i imagine.

@@idontevenknow636 No. Armorer reduces any physical damage but not magic damage. Attack increases any physical melee damage, but since you'll use only melee units with an attack hero like Crag Hack (and spare a skill slot because you don't invest in range damage), attack and armorer are just two aspects of the same matter. But the difference is that you can increase attack by +30% (+ Crag Hack's specialization), while you can decrease damage only by 15% (+ Tazar's specialization). So every point in Crag Hack's attack is worth twice every point in Tazar's def. And because +attack% scales with creature's damage (e.g. 50 for archangels), it's even more beneficial.

@@Cyrantel Reduction is more powerful than increase. -50% incoming damage is equally as powerful as +100% archery and offense combined. In practice LVL 20 is the most commonly reached level. Both will have expert offense and defense tazar will reduce incoming damage by 30% will crag hack will increase outgoing by 60%. 1.6*0.7 = 1.12 - crag hack units will deal 12% more dmg. 1.3*0.85= 1.105 - tazar units will deal 10.5% more dmg. They're almost evenly matched in melee but Tazar defense also works on ranged attacks, making him overall stronger in a direct fight. For every LVL higher than 20 Tazar gets comparatively stronger than Crag Hack.

@@Cyrantelarmorer stacks better thats why. Offence bonus +30% is added to your overal bonus. Its basically +6 attack rating. With crag at level 20 its like +12 atk rating. So its never truly a +30% or more. Especially if strong unit that already have much higher atk attacks weak unit with low defence. Armorer dont suffer the same problem. Its always -15% or dmg times 0.85. Wih Tazar at level 20 its always true -30% or x0.70. And also lots of end game battles is just trying to outlive out summon your oponent and you need hp and defence for that.

@@Cyrantelone more example with AA becouse you got it wrong. AA have 30 base ATK and 50 dmg. If they attack lets say Horned demons which have 10 DEF, they will do 100 dmg becouse they have 20 more ATK so +100% more dmg or dmg x2 (same thing). Now with expert offence and lv20 Crag you might think that your AA will do 160 dmg (100 x1.6) right? Wrong. Your AA will do only 130 dmg. Why? Becouse 60% offence bonus will be added to 100% bonus you get from your higher ATK and this bonus is then multiplied with AA base dmg of 50. So in this example its not 50 x2 = 100 x1.6 = 160, but its 50 x2.6 = 130. And it gets worse the higher your base ATK already is. Expert Armorer with lv20 Tazar will always reduce dmg by 30% regardless of your defence skill becouse after all calculation the game will apply x0.70 multiplier dmg reduction. Lv24 Tazar will give you 33% dmg reduction which is crazy. Crag cant compete.
