Blitz is an all or nothing operator. You bust into a room and either die instantly or kill half the enemy team. Run up to someone, flash shield, and melee, and if they run away, shoot them in the back, your pistol fires about as fast as you can pull the trigger. I also run breaches instead of smokes for the added bonus of being able to explode through completely unexpected walls or through barricades and non protected hatches without warning, so I can run in and murder the enemy. When you play Blitz, you have to think Blitzkrieg, you have to go in fast and keep up the momentum, because otherwise you're screwed. Pulled multiple 1v2s, 1v3s, and even a 1v4 in this manner. (Have yet to get an ace in this game tho) Also, having a Monty hop in first and soak up the initial bullets does wonders

Naw smokes all the way, especially with a Zofia. You toss em at an entrance to the objective and she fires all her stuns, maybe impacts if you know where guy is couped up. Then flank around the other side of obj with blitz well Zofia and someone else keeps them busy at the smoked entrance. If no Zofia then I just toss and rush, using the smoke as concealment. Come out one side and there's a Rook, and a Bandit with nitro ready. I'm stuning and running to the smoke.

As a blitz main, The important thing with blitz is too do the unexpected thing. Be the Kool-aid man, not the wall. Your melee is your bread and butter, but your pistol is surprisingly capable as well, if you shove the barrel against the targets face before pulling the trigger.

I always run smoke grenades with blitz. It's especially useful on bomb. When you plant the bomb you automatically put your shield on your back. If you place the bomb facing away from the enemy you can have a little protection from the shield while the smoke gives you even more cover.

This solidifies the blitz is just left click complaint people have as wlel as the twitch shooting and speed issue siege has now. Literally a team of 3 speeds would dominate in this game if people have good reflexes... adn well they do. The only reason to pick anyone but 3 speeds is gadgets or guns.

WittyJackson relatively speaking they are good. I just watched five minutes of this video and had to look away several times. For example, Michael hip-firing the guy as Rook in Kitchen during the first round. He didn’t even try to aim and he didn’t have a laser. Pick one and stick to it or use a shorter range scope.

Gavin addressed that on reddit yesterday "I was pushing for a LASO run for a while but the risks surrounding deciding to make one of those videos is very high. We could play for 5 hours and not make it entirely through a level. When cut up into parts for YT you then might end up with Wednesday’s and Thursday’s videos with us stuck at the same checkpoint which would lead to people skipping episodes or skipping to the final part. It’s frustrating after several hours of the same thing to play as well as watch. Frustration is funny at first but without progress it quickly drains the energy of the whole room. Then you have the fact that 4 people’s time has been used up for the majority of a day and we end up not being able to do our regular shows. Just look at all the videos where I had that ultra violet dye in my hair... shows you how many videos can be made in a single day. Some of us also have hard outs for broadcast productions on different days. The planets have to align for it to make sense: Only 4 people in the room, other shows for the week already shot, no podcasts or other shows/meetings to leave for, enough time for the editors to deal with such big files etc. Based on the response I think we should do more but they’d have to come out much less frequently than our other projects."

Blitz tip: when you pop open a window or door, move back and aim through it. It’s much more affective then taking hits and waiting to shoot when they back off. Waiting and taking hits inside a room can lead to the other team informing their players where you are and being hit from the back. Don’t be hesitant blitz is a rush character. If you want to be more reluctant Montagne would be a better shield to use as you can stand in a corner fully covered by your ability and let them open fire to give you a better chance to strike.
