Founded in 2010 by a team of Afghan’s and expat’s with over 30 years combined experience in the creative fields, Kuchi Productions aims to bring a new standard of quality to film, photography and design within Afghanistan and to present to the international community a vision of the country hitherto unseen.
We specialise in accessing areas of the country which may appear beyond reach, yet with careful planning and respect for local customs we can access a hidden world and in doing so reveal the untold stories of our times.
Film: Production of the highest quality documentary film is the central passion of the Kuchi Productions team. Hounds are the ultimate type of dog, Afghan hounds, greyhounds, vizla, Weimaraner, Rhodesian ridgeback, Hanoverian hound, daschund, Bavarian mountain hound, etc etc the list goes on they’re the best for hunting and for pets in my opinion

Absolutely. I have a lab, Asian pye and janwal pashmi (indian hound) ans let me tell you the pashmi is the most well behaved, loving yet protective dog ever. Best among 3 couldn't ask for more

Types of greyhounds in Iran There are several types of greyhounds in Iran Seluki greyhound is the oldest greyhound in Iran, which is mentioned in Khaqani poems and miniature paintings of the hunting season by Kamaluddin Behzad. The Kurdish greyhound is found in the west and northwest and is usually elegant and fast and used for hunting rabbits and deer. The hound of eastern Iran, which can be seen in the provinces of Khorasan and Sistan, is very similar to the Kurdish hound and is large-bodied and hunts boar, rabbit, deer, etc.

They look very useful hounds far better for the hard ground.no other breed would have the hardness to cope with the conditions that they are running their prey.they are far better specimens of the breed than the afghan hounds shown in shows around the world. Nice to see some real hounds doing what they where bred for.

The shark hound is found in the southwest and some southeast regions, and its body and ears are smaller. Balochi greyhound is found in the south of Sistan and Baluchistan province. With a hairy body and with very long hair that intertwines. In the northeast of Iran (for example, Golestan province), there have been greyhounds for a long time and they have been used for hunting. This hound is very similar to Kurdish hounds and some regions of eastern Iran.

Hunting should be stopped, respect for the environment. And the zoo should be called باید جلوی ای شکار چیان گرفته شود احترام ب محیط زیست. و حیاط وحش گزاشته شود شاید او‌خرگوش که شکار می‌شود. نوزاد داشته باشه شاید همان روبا توله شیر. خوار داشته باشه این کار نادرست هست

Today, greyhounds exist in rural areas or among the Bedouins of Iran's border areas, where each region has a special size and color, but all these types are classified as Iranian greyhounds and are placed in one group. Except for the very hairy types of Baluchi, the rest of the types can be seen in almost all the mentioned areas.
