The challenge has 2 major flaws: 1. You are getting help from your friends. If that was the case, couldn't they have just given you an elytra from the start? 2. You alerdy had materials prepared for you to use in the challenge, If that's the case the challenge doesn't align with other peoples border run where they had to get the metarials from ground up.

I don't know if my math is wrong, but if your horse travels at a speed of 14 blocks per second, that means that in the nether you travel 8 times faster, so that means about 112 blocks per second. Per hour this equals to 400.000 blocks which means that in 24 hours you would have travelled about 10.000.000 blocks. His death was probably staged just to make it to spawn in time. Even though it's probably fake, I think the video is still entertaining to watch.

*2 reasons* the challenge became null & void _long before_ the TNT launcher attempt (I enjoyed the video regardless): 1) You used the Nether for travel. People had _legit_ traveled to the Overworld border while staying in the Overworld (only using the Nether/End for resources, nothing more). 2) The server members allowed you to resume at world spawn, which makes the video title a slightly misleading.

I tested this myself when 1.20 was added in a smp server im in, it took me way too long in the nether roof even to reach 1 million blocks, i fell asleep twice and died once, (luckly there was a /back command and keepinventory) and after couple days i gave up, then i just went to survival and wantd to see how far i can teleport in creative, and if i remember correctly, 29 million is the max limit, reason why i wanted to go that far was to see if the farlands was still a thing, but worls border stopped me.

It would be faster to get sticks to trade with a flezcher to get emeralds to upgrade the leatherworker. And also for 1 emerald and 10 gravel you can get 10 flint on the first trade of the fletcher if you roll a couple times( break the fletching table replace it check the trade if it aint good repeat).

I think this video is staged/fake, and I've got some math to prove it. Also, this isn't any hate directly to this youtuber, but I just think this stands out. A notable thing, at 7:48 we see his current coordinates. You can see he already travelled 30.000.000-29.197.738=802.262 blocks. Travelling 800k blocks on a horse that goes 14 blocks per second would take: 800.000(blocks travelled)÷14(blocks per second)=57142 seconds, or 57142÷60=952 minutes, or 952÷60=15,8 hours. And at first, this might seem achievable, but when you look clearly at the timer, you will see that at 7:32 he says he is already 5 hours in the challenge, this means that he only has 24-5=19 hours left. Knowing it would have taken him 15 hours, we can do 15+5=20, and this means that at the point where he supposedly died, he would have been 20 hours into the challenge, though at 8:43 he says: 'Which im pretty sure is impossible to do in 19 hours'. Like what? This doesn't make any sense, and lets leave out the math here for a second. Because he got all his gear in the first 5 hours, but he SUPPOSEDLY travelled right? Wouldn't he have less time left? Wouldn't he have said something like, 'it is not possible in 14 hours'. We can draw this simple conclusion without doing any math aswell. And of course, while the video could have been faked, It's obviously meant for entertainment purposes, and therefore it does not matter that much that it might have been faked. Again, no hate to you, the video is really, really well made and edited, and you can tell a lot of work has been put into it. That's all
