1- I KNEW purple loved Baby Q! 2- LOVE the mischievous eyes of Joey when he tells of Krumpus. Or is that his cunning look? 3- the effect on the bad guys…ya can see a bit of antler yet it blurred…SO COOL! (Awesome Tiny Tuber!) 4- personally, current cost of coal…I can live with it as a gift. 5- most important…I hope you all had a good break. @i sing , Krampus's name is derived from the German word krampen, meaning claw, and is said to be the son of Hel in Norse Mythology. The legendary beast. He's the half-man, half-goat who comes around every year to chase naughty children and maybe even drag them to hell.

According to my half-Austrian husband, Krampus doesn't leave coal. Coal is _useful!_ You can burn it for warmth during the cold winter when, for 6-8 months, nobody could get in or out of the Alpine valley where you live. Krampus leaves _ashes:_ useless and messy. That winter isolation started changing over the last 70 years, with the paving of every main roadway, regular winter snowplowing, and modern tunneling equipment. Seriously, I've never seen so many tunnels and such long tunnels in my life until my husband took me to visit the valley his family is from.

Thats handy information. And yes it is useful, like thermal socks. But when you are an playful otter that is a child, both coal and socks are an insult as a gift.
