It’s a good buy if you are open to dealing with the issues the material of the figure comes with: tackiness, dust, and changing his pose every two days(if you don’t leave it in vanilla). I forget to readjust mine, which could mess the skeleton up which lowers the fun factor for me but I am glad I bought him.

I lucked up and found a 1/6 scale of this which to me works better with 1/12 figure since being a God I'd imagine him being twice as big as a 6" human. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't skimp on anything when they shrunk it down to 1/12. If you go to the 1/6 line it will give you a heads up at what is coming down the line. I have 1/6 Horace on the way. All the new ones coming out have bird heads which is accurate to the Egyptian source material but out of 4 figures three of them have bird heads?... This makes Anubis really stand out.

Tbleague has a whole line of 1/6 scale Egyptian gods. Their Horus was just released a few weeks ago and their Month, Deity of War was just released on Big Bad Toy Store today. Ra is coming soon.

@@Prowl76 yeah I just got Horace Monday and BBTS was going to send out Month today but I can't take a $400.00 hit in one paycheck cycle. What I'm trying to decide is if I want to go Golden or silver. The white clothes of the silver contrasts better with the black skin but I like the general theme of the Gold. I was going to get Horus in silver and Ra in Gold to contrast the bird heads more but I chickened out at the last minute and went gold on the Horace. Really thinking Silver for Month though.

How do you deal with the stickiness and the dust?

As of right now I haven’t found a solution to that other than storing him in glass. If I find a safe solution I’ll be sure to share it!

I’ve read to use a dust can you would use for your computer to get the dust off, not recommended to wash the figure. Then reapply talcum powder , or silicone finishing powder(small amount) over the figure until tackiness goes away. I haven’t tried this yet as I haven’t picked the figure back up since the review but it seems the most solid answer for it
