Cool. Glad my videos helped. I'm so glad I got the mid-chassis brace. I was skeptical about the rear brace at first too, but I'm glad I have it. The only other suspension piece I may get is a rear sway bar.

That’s what I’m looking into as well. I know Eibach has a rear sway bar for our tC. I’ll most likely end up getting seeing how the rear strut works on your car. Also have you heard anything about the performance on the traction bar and rear mid chassis brace tb performance has?

You definitely want to start with the mid chassis brace. That will give you the best improvement overall.

No, nor have I seen that happen on any of the other tC's near me with one installed.

I bought the entire Kit from TB Performance for my 2016 Scion iM the mid chassis brace and rear hatch brace did make a difference . The exhaust brace laid right up on the stock exhaust no good I emailed them they said space it out with washers Ummm No .....The Traction Bar I have no idea where it mounts and their website does not show a valid picture or video how it mounts on the iM ,the Ford Focus he loves 200 pictures showing installed parts not the Scions Support your products .......!! So if you know where the traction bar mounts if they make one for your TC please show it thanks Great Videos 😎👍 Sept 2019

If you don't want to go the washer route, try getting Torque Solution exhaust hangers. I will eventually get the front and rear bars for me car, but probably not this season unless I see them on a good sale. I did just check the photo on the website and it looks like he re-used the same picture for the tC and iM. If you haven't watched my video on wrapping the strut bar, I highly recommend doing that so it doesn't get scratched up.

I always include updates, links, and additional info in all my video descriptions. The front bar is from the same company as well. They make a total of 5 braces for the tC2 / tC2.5.

Is the rear strut bar supposed to be a little loose or tight fit? The nuts they supplied don’t fit 🙃

It should be tight. I re-used the nuts from the shock for mine.

It is my understanding that the rear seats have the option of being placed in a reclined position. Does the installation of the C-Brace prevent the rear seats from being reclined?

The rear seats only recline a little and no, it does not interfere with them.

What did you torque the rear strut bar down to??

There are any torque specs for the strut bar, but that top nut on the shocks is 18 ft/lbs.

Hey I bought the rear strut bar used . The guy didn’t have the nuts that came with it. He used the strut tower ones. I was wondering what size they are . The fronts are m14 by 1.25 and it’s a hair small. The dealer doesn’t even know.

I don't know the size either. I would try Lowes or Ace Hardware as they have a decent metric selection and get some nuts from there to try.

What do i do when the c pillar brace wont twist on one side? Just bought it and i cant get the passenger side of it to break loose

Make sure you're turning it the right way. One side loosens counter-clockwise while the other goes clockwise.

They should of made the c bar all one part looks like the bar is for a different vehicle and modified with the extension it looks bad but love the tb rear strut bar I have that and front trd strut bar makes hella difference

The c-pillar bar has to be designed that way so that it can expand to fit into the hole recess on the trim.

they HAVE to design it like this. there are 10mm bolts that need to go in and tighten down inside the frame itself

Top bar looks rigged because it looks like it doesn’t fit then welded two ends to make it work but interest in the rear strut bar

The top bar is threaded so if you turn the middle section one direction, it pushes the ends out. It has to be installed this way because of the plastic trim. It really only helps keep the top of the car from twisting, which is evident by the moon roof creaking when going around corners. The rear strut bar will be more noticeable for handling. If you haven't gotten the mid-chassis brace, I highly recommend that first.
