I agree! The atmosphere is so unique they actually put their time to give it that trench warfare feeling with terrain, sounds, visuals, and the list goes on. I never played much games eventually I invested into a console 2 years ago and remember about this game got for 5 bucks on sale couple months ago. Active community still and as of today I’m level 90 lol the only fps shooter game I’ve been playing.

I fell in love with it the moment I played that intro back in 2016. I remember just staring at the screen with my jaw wide open, scared and excited on what I was about to get myself into. Hundreds of hours played later and I still love it 😊

Maaaaaan just seeing that tank hunter gameplay again makes me wanna re-download this game again because of how fun it is to use! I remember the last time i did i got a tank hunter class in the desert map with the flag out in the middle of nowhere( it was a beta map before bf1 came out fully ) and actually got to take down a heavy tank with it! Not to mention i love the sweetspot mechanic for snipers in bf1 too, made the experience so fun figuring out the different sweetspots and honing those snipers! Always loved this battlefield ever since it came out back in 2016 from the cutscenes to the super clean gameplay and graphics

It's interesting to go back to the old BF games to see what it's like today. I still play BF4 occasionally, I love it the most out of all the games and I played it to death when it was at the height of its popularity. Hardline was really dumb, but i think that's why i liked it so much, I'll never forget "DONUT SPOTTED!" BF1 i didn't spend much time with as I had it on Xbox One, and the load time and queue times were atrocious, but the gunplay was neat and weighty and whoever designed the reload animations deserves a medal cos they are STRAIGHT CASH.

The great thing is: If you learn to use the horse, you will never wait long for a free one. Most don't get it, the one who do often suck. (And then the emotional labor of forcing yourself to play effective instead of playing cool aka melee, though on Passchendaele and Caparetto it is actually the superior technique, and with time you know when to risk it.)
