There is no rule that they can't put both some low rarity token equipment and an epic ship into the Phoenix Store, so they could do both. Though, I suspect the best route for Phoenix being an effective sink would be putting the old T5 ships that have been discontinued, the T5U token, and maybe some of the oldest lockbox weapons (ex. Ferenginar Plasma) into the UR tier.

I checked on Epic for the giveaway. It's just available if you linked your account back then and DID NOT buy the bundle for 20 bucks. If you already bought the pack back then, like i did, then you can't claim it again. But you can still get the free Polymorphic Viral Probe pack if you haven't claimed it already.

Why they don't recognize publicly there are bots involved in DIl-Ex back log, but dropping Dil sinks will not help the issue, they tried that before with not much success anyways.

because this is not bot related issue, just look at the most popular gold selling website, they are barely selling any EC, like 50-100 $ worth of EC per day and its been going down for like 2 years. You can even see it on wayback machine when you look at that biggest gold selling website, you can see how many ECs they been selling per day during Starbase 1 bot era vs now

@@loading1920 I don't follow or look any of those sites selling stuff to players, I am not fan of such actions, but this issue last time was solved in mere day when Spencer urged via his video a year ago! Suddenly all bots disappeared and Dil ex was for few mnths back to normal. After that it started rising again and they never look at this again, hence we are close to 15 Million now which is over 2 mnths waiting. How do u explain the last time then?

Whilst it's great for those who don't have the Compiler, what about for those of use that do - and have epic tokens to use? If they can't/won't do another type of ship, then something non-ship that's desirable might be the go. TR-116A, T1 Andorian ship, those kind of things from long ago that would appeal. Remember the Red Matter Capacitor was one such thing.

Would be nice if they released exclusive omnis and wide arc dhc in the Phoenix store. Phased polaron/Tetryon, corrosive, chronoplasma, and whatever else that doesn't have them would be nice to have them in there and I would blow dil to get them.

I find it amusing that in the blog post regarding the station overhaul they mention the Enterprise F as "newly minted". STO really doesn't want to accept the fact the F is canonically destroyed and that it's first appearance on screen was it's final voyage regardless as it was to be decommissioned, but no despite all that it's totally a newly minted ship...

I'd rather have something starfleet, that or a new feature that allows us to skin our weapons to resemble any other weapon type so that non-starfleet ships can be easier to enjoy without needing an entire new set of weapons just to prevent the ship looking weird.

what is a captain retrain token. There is no such thing. Do you mean a token that will allow you to change from Engineer to tact or sci, something like that? If yes then I agree but again i will say that it would have a very minor effect in the mid to long tern. They need to do a complete overhaul of the phoenix box and infinity box. But i still like your idea :))

@ captain retrain tokens are for resetting your skills. A free 2 play player only gets like one or two, then they have to buy them. I almost reckon many people accidentally brick their character by putting points all into science space skills . Just to find out they used there last captain retrain token and now they’re out of luck unless they buy a retrain token.

I would put stuff in the Phoenix box what sell little or not at all, DECA will definitely have a list of them. For example, some older ships from lock-boxes and lobi-store, which are already outdated in quality. Some of them look interesting and I would like to try them for fun, but I won't buy them because they are worse than current z-store ships. Oh, and I would also give some token for dilithium what would allow players to do more Endevour per day, so that newer players have a chance to catch up with veterans. I'll be honest , I probably missed Borticus the least from devs team. He is the reason why many stuffs in the game are almost or completely useless and weak, and a few others are best in slot and overpowered.

Put all the T5 ships on sale for dilithium, and put a new line of TMP ships and shuttles in the Phoenix store or on sale for dilithium. They'll never do the latter but i promise it would help. 1,000,000 dilithium each.

There's precedent for it with other systems in the game. Don't think there'd be much harm to it at this point. Things with CD like contra turnins would still be limited.

I do not know if I was one of the lucky ones who was able to link the Epic Store to my STO account or not. I remember having to jump through some extra hoops to get it linked. But that was quite a while ago. I don't know if it is shut down forever or not.

I feel the interior of ESD should be tweaked...I always thought there should be more to do inside a massive space station. I dunno..more clubs, more anything would be great. I just find as a player with a few years under their belt that these maps become a bit superfluous in that areas with nothing in them don't get used. That's wasted space....

It's a great ship but it won't appeal to everyone. But there are folks that have been wanting it so there will hopefully be at least a measurable impact. As said in the vid, it's not the solution to the entire issue, but each thing that chips away at it is good.

imo opinion, "NO". There are far better sci ships. It was fun for a week but you can't turn the darn thing without investing into Turn Rate consoles which take away form epg and aux boost consoles and that's the deal breaker.

WOW Disappointing, at this point in the lifespan if STO a band aide is akin to doing nothing. In my experience when you do something you do it right or nothing at all. Band aide solutions always fail. They are done so people have an excuse to tell themselves and others, "well at least we tried." This is B.S. at the 10 the degree. If you do something then do it properly or don't do it at all. A new dil sink at this point without a total revamp of the phoenix box will fail and have a initial boost in the short term but in the long term it won't have any effect. There are just no ships in the phoenix that anybody wants or needs anymore and the drop rate is equal to being hit by lightning and when was the last time that happened to you? I know players that have played for over 10 yrs and have never won a t6 ship from the phoenix box. 7 yrs ago i once spent 4 mil dil and didn't win a t6 ship. Back then I could have exchanged that dil for zen and bought every c store ship in the game. In fact once someone told me that in a chat room that was exactly what i did next. A few months later I saved up 2 mil dil and bought almost every ship in the c-store. The truth is I don't think cryptic/deca want to fix this as it's no benefit to them at all.

Compiler won't get people spending Dill, And they need far more things than just another ship in the store worth buying with dill for both new and old players. And giving everybody a free epic on every toon just made things 10x worse, everybody who was saving for a Domino no longer needed to and just dumped there dill in the Zen exchange, How they couldn't see this happening when it was obvious what was going to happen I don't know!

no it's far from the best, most builds have dropped it completely. Now the ship trait on the other hand is still very good. But by the time you're able to buy it, it will be almost obsolete. There is always new meta items coming out like the new winter event ship console which is far better.

@@realplonk wth are you talking about. Everyone is running Dragonsblood Flame Reactor console. Extremely powerful active and really good passives too for a bunch of builds. Breath of the dragon often accounts for 10-20% of the total dps or more, on a bunch of top DPS builds. Exotics builds can pump 150-200k dps out of it depending on the map.

What community? I've played the game for years and years and years and talked to people maybe once or twice. It feels like a singleplayer game. Even when I actively approach somebody 9/10 they're too busy farming their dilithium or whatever the heck else to even say a word. Only place that actually has folks talking is probably ESD and maybe occasionally in sector space.

@@Arbie2004 I've been playing with the same people since launch, some have come and gone, but theres a core of us who I see maybe not daily but multiple times a week and we will run something together. Also the high end DPS community is pretty tight knit because its so small. Everyone kinda knows everyone and if you come in as a newcomer you get to know everyone pretty fast. None of us use ingame chat because ingame chat in a f2p mmo is pure uncut giga-cancer. We all use discord.
