Excellent tutorial for people to learn how to skin mate,but just a quick one you dont need to save your files as a dds always save them as a png modstudio will save them as a dds for you.

Thanks for the comment. I don't want to say yes or no definitely because I haven't looked into making those sort of mods, or at least I haven't yet. I think it might be a different program.

@garrett69 ok depending on what truck you've used, what game version you've made it for, and what level you've told the mod to unlock at could all be reasons it's not appearing.

This is so confusing, I've made my mod for "Scania S 8x4" and all works great until I upload another mod "Scania S" the "Scania S 8x4" then uses the "Scania S" skin and the skin for the "Scania S Truck" vanishes. I've chosen only cabs for the relevant skins in the mods studio 2. Any help appreciated.

everytime i finish doing exactly whats in the video, i go into my game and try to use the mod and it says incompatible with game version cannot activate. i tried it with all versions and all the same, if i could get some help id appreciate it!!

Follow this path: Mods studio 2 Mod manifest Basic scroll to the bottom and where it says "Compatible versions" leave that blank. i use the exact method i used in this video and it works every time.

Can i ask how you do accessories for trucks? Cuz my images are on different parts of the truck where i don't want them, like on the mirror etc

As far as I know it'll be a separate template, as for putting them in the game I am not too sure as I haven't tried to do an accessories skin just yet.

Make a separate plain color or whatever texture you want for accessories. When selecting type of paint job in MS2, go with advanced truck skin. And assign needed accessories to what plain texture.

@callysweatgamer9732 Ok Are you using the right templates?, do you have the right xml file for the trailer from the mod studio discord?. In this tutorial i explained every step that i took and still take for every truck and trailer skin i make and never have any issues.

You need the skin template for whatever Mod truck you've got then go onto the Mod Studio discord to see if they've got the files needed for that truck.

@HluleloMokase make sure all the boxes where you enter text are filled. I'm going to say to you what I've said to everyone else: The directions i give are the exact ones i use for my own skins, and i have never had one fail.

if i download the templetes (and i am a real rookie). i see these files..'front mirror paint'...'rear fender paint' and a lot more...the video does not explain why these files are not used ? So another tutorial not really for me.
