I am a bit older and remember watching Joe Montana win those four Super Bowls. I thought, dang, there is never gonna be someone that good like Joe that can win more than four! It is super hard to win a Super Bowl....it really is. Enter Tom Brady......best ever now. I just can't see anyone, ever, getting to seven....or even going to ten Super Bowls......amazing.

Payton manning was his only real rival. Manning was the ONLY other QB in the AFC who was clicking and film studying as hard as TB12. And it paid off. Once Manning actually got a decent defense , he won several times against the Patriots in the playoffs. The big ones were 2006 and 2013, and 2015. In 2006, Payton did unto Tom Brady what Brady had done to lots of teams -- he mounted a 3 score comeback in the 4th quarter to win. That AFC championship game was FIRE!
