That was a great race. That DSM is tough, same guy that had the EVO? Love seeing these cars, white Jeep, Nissan NX, 200sx, black goat 😉 and others. I live on the gulf coast of MS and can’t click on these spectator drags fast enough. Too bad there aren’t any near by.

This was a really really good one, gret racers and matchups, i look forward to it every week, i couldnt believe the 4 cylinder boosted eclipse slayed the v8s this time, but that thing is quick off the line and handles tight, that last 3 way race was a real banger, absolutely perfect matchups.

Dogg, i seriously might get into the DSM game based off that Eclipse. I loved them since seeing one in highschool when they first came out. A red GSX with the classic spoiler. The 4AGE engine is legendary. The races were outstanding..hell yeah dude

@@shoDOHC awd definitely makes a difference on track times it has the advantage, i use to have a first gen gsx awd turbo eclipse back in high school also but am a huge mustang fan even though their not built to handle like some, their still essentially muscle cars and fun and made for straight line or to sling sideways and have fun, which was the intention of the build back then, or i like little of everything really if its done right, gm, ford honda, toyota etc.

14:54 - to whoever owns that silver Camaro SS: I felt that pain once before when I forgot to pull and latch my T-Top handle....it flew off on the FDR Drive into a park, along with my $150 dash cam😢 It was 10 days and $750 later when I received a used one in like new condition I found on eBay. I hope you'll garage it or it won't rain much....

@@teamsterjeffrey funny enough I actually was focused on the camaro and had no clue the 200sx hit until it came around in front of me...I’m glad I zoomed out just in time to catch it on camera for you guys though ! He really punched it coming out of turn 4, vortech kicked in & got him sideways without exactly planning to do so 😅 he got banged up too with a slight concussion but is back in action & will be fixing it up to catch more racing soon !

I would hope that with the IRS and front setup good it would be competitive. I know the solid axle will snap steer bad with stock suspension. I am still getting used to my IRS after being flung off the road in a GT solid axle. Could you imagine if the Terminator built up a lot if tension and then snap steered into the wall? About a $25,000 mistake. I would be scared to death to lose it. I only have a 99 that I am Eaton swapping and I don’t think I would oval track it. Maybe build some GT into an IRS car and 4v swap it just for this. Or just boost a 2v since this is all down low. I think the IRS and front suspension would be the deal maker. You are right about proper suspension in a new edge though. As I am typing this my cars twin comes out! That 99 Cobra looks just like mine.

Many use them for Autocross as well. But they do require a few little mods before being nimble enough for this, like subframe connectors and strut tower braces.

This was part of the monster truck show and the track wanted to entertain the audience by having the trucks out after round 1...so they sent spectator drags back to the pits, and back out after first round of monster trucks. The track was a mess too which took a bit to clean up, personally I thought it was a ridiculous idea since no one was gonna just leave that came just for monster trucks, but that should explain the confusion 😅🤣

@@ebw16256 I mean the car is stock for the most part. It has an exhaust and upgraded intercooler and I tuned it. I even had to take off the factory tires and put on different ones to meet the rules. So I guess yeah I’m sand bagging based on what the car could really do if I spent a little time on it. I’m out there in a mostly stock car that’s setup neutral, racing highly modified or atleast more modified cars than me that are specifically setup to go left on a tire. The video doesn’t show what’s actually done to my car but I can assure you it has pennies in it when compared to others. Yes my clutch dragged slightly and I moved an inch. I made up for it in the next race by giving a 1 car head start and used my ebrake. Stay tuned for the outcome!
