Well done on the build and explaining. I want to get a timber sled kit for my 2020 te300i, as well as still keep it for riding tires in the summer. Have fun long live the 2- stroke

Be a great bike for those days the snow sets up. Heat exchanger, tstat is a little hotter for the TPI bikes I would try 165F and let it buck! Be a fun combo. Check out the head inserts and ERM module for your bike at Two Stroke Performance.

love the video, got the same bike, what are the handguards you are running?
@The_Snowbike_ChannelАй бұрын
@@kellywinters-l9t last winter I ran the Timbersled Cycra Pro Bends. Awesome handguards but had to change to a top clamp mounted hand guard because of my handlebars. I’m running the Cheetah Factory Racing SX handlebar and this bar is a bit tricky mounting handguards to so I went to the Reflex Racing handguards. I like them a lot because they have some flex to them and are tough.

@@The_Snowbike_Channel Haha good stuff I love mine too. Right on, I'm in BC and just cranked the air up all the way(maybe 5-10 pounds higher than max) but was thinking of getting that airpro fork kit or sending my suspension to Riders Edge here in Vernon BC. The air forks work ok stock but not great. I'll probably change few things after your video though, thx again I look forward to the update!

What temperature range would you recommend for a TE 300i tpi. Excellent video!!!! Thanks
@The_Snowbike_Channel10 ай бұрын
Thanks! The TPI owners are saying slightly higher temperature is better. I want to say the stock thermostat in the TPI bikes is around 149-165F. If you get an aftermarket thermostat, buy both the 149 and 165. Start with the cooler 149 and see what you think. The tstats are only $19 from Watt-Man.

Any issues with your XRT on crusty trails or just maintaining trail temps in general? Prepping for this upcoming season, I recently installed the narrow mid-size XRT heat exchanger on my 2018 HONDA 450R paired with a 2023 ARO3 PRO. I have scratchers installed to try and get snow up to the exchanger but my main worry is with the 3" paddles, how well will the snow reach the exchanger during the mandatory trail riding to get to the back country riding we all know and love.
@The_Snowbike_Channel Жыл бұрын
No issues so far, however we generally don’t have long trail rides here in Alaska to reach the riding zones. We have installed the XRT coolers now on three bikes up here (23 300SX, BRC 500, and 17 YZ450) and none of the bikes have ever over heated. Do you plan to keep your radiators? If so, I don’t think you’ll have a problem at all. Might not hurt to add scratchers just in case but my guess is you won’t have any issue on trails.
@jakeflattum9129 Жыл бұрын
At this point i have both rads deleted and im running the XRT coolant bottle. But plan to take the rads along on our first trip incase i need to add one back. @@The_Snowbike_Channel
@The_Snowbike_Channel Жыл бұрын
On the YZ450 build the owner removed both rads and found it to be perfect. I want to say he is running the medium size XRT cooler. On the BRC I deleted both rads and ram the large cooler and it was perfect. On the 300 I left my radiators and use the medium size cooler. I could probably delete the radiators and still be fine but I like the additional coolant in the bike. Seems to help even out the temp swings transitioning from trail to powder and vice versa.

What exhaust wrap are you using?
@The_Snowbike_Channel Жыл бұрын
P3 Max Coverage carbon pipe guard and just automotive exhaust wrap you can get at Napa. Wet the wrap first and really put it on tight. I used hose clamps to hold it in place. I also cut small holes in the wrap and start the wrap at the springs mounts so the wrap stays in place. Then go far enough down the pipe so the P3 guard covers the end of the wrap.
